Do you eat while on the computer

I eat all the time, got crumbs all over it, if I turn it upside down and shake it, I bet a pizza would come out

Yep - breakfast and lunch at my desk at the office and sometimes while I web-surf on my laptop at home if we happen to be having supper away from the dining room table. It's grody - I can't deny it and I've blown-up a number of keyboards by spilling stuff on them.

I used to use a vacuum to clean dust and debris from the keyboard. I won't use my ShopVac any more since it ripped out the keys from the keyboard along with the dust.

My first computer stayed as far away from food and drink as I could possibly manage.

That was quite awhile ago, though. Now I am far more lax and regularly have something edible nearby...

Yes, I do eat and have coffee at my computer.

I do eat. You can use a dry toothbrush to clean the keyboard up. I also use a damp towel to clean it off.

Not at home - we only eat at the dining room table at home. But I eat lunch at my desk at work and often work through lunch, so I'll use the computer while eating here.

Nope,never. I'm a bit OCD about handwashing/clean hands, no way do I want any substances around my keyboard where my fingers will get contaminated. Drinks are ok, but it's usually bottled water with a cap, or my Disney coffee mug that has a lid on it, unlikely to spill.

my daughter just came home from college for the summer and showed me the keyboard cover she recently bought...I had never seen one before, but I'm going to get myself one soon (and one for hubby, too) because we've had coffees spilled on keyboards and laptops more times than I want to think about.

Yep, we are real people and we LIVE in our house. We eat at the computer, and everywhere else in the house. The dog also lays on the couch and sleeps in our beds. When the boys were little they rode their little bikes around the house on our hardwood floors too. Now we do have nice things and we do try hard to take good care of our things but we do use and enjoy our things.
