Do you e-mail your guide?

is that a standard practice? I have a question I need to speak with my guide about but I seem to not be able to find his contact information. Do they list this somewhere on dvcmember.com that i'm just not finding?

Although a few have said they communicate to some extent by e-mail with their guide, most guides do not seem to use e-mail. I don't believe they are permitted to provide any pricing information by e-mail.

Jay,

We toured last Friday. We got home Sunday and left the FIRST message for our tour guide. We've left 4 total AND I called and got her email. Nothing to date. I'm giving her till tomorrow and then we're going to use someone else. I really really liked her. We had a great connection with her,but this IS sales. I'm really shocked it's take THIS long to get back with us. Maybe she forgot we ARE in a a recession?

Any time I sent an email to my guide I always got a reply.

Officially Guides are not suppose to use email due to Disney legal reasons. Some may break the rules and only receive email, others may respond to emails that don't involve contracts and pricing. Most will call you back if they think that they will make a sale.

Some delays are due to Guides being on vacation or being temporally assigned to a different sales location.

You can always call (800) 800-9100 and speak to someone live.

I do email my guide and he answers me back via email if my question is general.
However, if I ask a question regarding purchasing or program, he calls to respond.

I like having the email because it allows me to send him off what I need and then when he calls, he already knows what information I need and has it available when we talk.

Our original guide was good to respond to us via email, as long as they were general questions. Otherwise he would call us and answer our questions. Unfortunately he is no longer there.

We switched to a new guide in June when we added on. I actually just emailed him a few minutes ago for the first time. So I guess we will see how well he responds to emails.
