DH and kids will only drink bottled water, so there is usually plenty on hand, so I voted no.

I voted always, but I bring a bottle of water too! It's hard to stay hydrated on those hot days!

Nope! Never! DS got deathly sick one trip to WDW during Thanksgiving. He insists it was from drinking from a water fountain and I think it probably was too. We spent 2 days in the hotel room at CBR. It was not pleasant. We only drink bottled water while at WDW. Annmarie

I don't drink from ANY water fountains, even Disney. I have seen people spit in them, and I don't want my face that close to their junk from their lungs.........YUCK!:crazy2:

I agree with msdznyduck, Just the thought of it makes my stomach turn. Bottle water for me no matter where I go or I buy a bottle of soda or something
:D

We always buy bottled water from Winn-Dixie when we get there. It's about $2.50 for a 6 pack. The water from the fountains tastes bad plus is warm. When we stay at DVC, we empty the bottles to about 1/2 full, freeze it overnight and then fill up the rest the next morning from another bottle. Then use that half bottle to freeze the next night. We bought insulated bottle holders, there is still ice left in the bottle for most of the day.

nope but then again I only drink bottled water at home

I do if I have to, but honestly Florida water tastes absolutely disgusting. I rather drink bottled.

there just to 'out there' for people to do things to them

When my mom and dad went, they took these cool bottle that have water filters right on them! They get ice from a vendor, and then fil them with the tap water. The filters can be replaced, and thats what we are taking when we go.

I try them in each park just to see if there is a magic one that doesn't have that sulfur taste to it, but I haven't met the magic one yet.:(:teeth:

I tend to drink gallons of the swimming pool water at the resort pools though because even though I can swim real well, I tend to drown myself.:teeth:

We drink both bottled water and from the fountains, very often filling up the empty bottle from a fountain.

Thanks Browneyes, I've been trying to think what the peculiar taste of the water is and couldn't place it.

Does any one know why Orlando water has this particular taste?

I usually carried bottled water, but if I run out I will stop and take a drink. We always stop at the talking drinking fountains at Epcot! :D

I don't drink from water fountains anywhere. I've never really drank from them much at all, but one time in high school I drank from one at a mall because I was dying of thirst, and I got mono a few days later. It probably wasn't related, but I just haven't been able to do it since then.

We do a bottled water run on the way to the resort from the airport.

I can't stand the smell of the water in Orlando, not to mention the taste!

The taste is pretty dire, isn't it?

We usually take bottled water in with us and fill up as we go round the park. We bought some cheaper bottled water from a gas station last time and even that tasted pretty revolting.

The first thing we do when we get home is make a decent cup of tea! ::yes:: :teeth:

Even though I voted Always..I would have to say that since we almost have bottled water with us, I almost never need to. I WOULD drink from the fountain if I ran out of water or needed some and didn't have my bottle with me. I agree though I sometimes I worry about other people putting their mouths on it.. I HATE to see kids put their whole mouth over it and suck it in...

Now that I think about it... maybe I should have voted NEVER....
