I was going to, but unfortunately, I didn't think to try on my costume from last year again until just today. And unfortunately, it no longer fits.

I was thinking I might just wear black and orange to hand out candy to the kids.

Do you dress up? If so, what do you dress up as?

lol but of course we dresss up:) last year we skipped it,, but year before last i was wolfie and dw was a witch,,, dressed to match dd btw:) we took dd t&t and then stayed in costume:)

I did before DD came along. Now she is the one dressed up - this year she'll be wearing the gold gown she's wearing in the pic in my sig.

When I do dress up, I've worn a variety of costumes - usually whatever I throw together at the last minute that I can enhance with the appropriate make-up. I've been a witch, rag doll, clown, old woman and queen (I have a gown I made for SCA and just happened to have a tiara...:)).

SCA as in society for creative anachronism?

We are very good friends with several of our local SCA members:)

I have an orange shirt with a jack-o-lantern face on it. That's about the extent of my dressing up. ;)

No I don't dress up. I like Halloween and seeing the kids in costume, but even as a kid I hated dressing up and going door to door.

Nope, wont be dressing up. No money or time to even think about it. THough I did go out last night at 11pm and bought groceries so I'd have some candy to pass out.

I heard we will be getting severe storms and rain tonight =( We may not get many kids if that happens... If it doesn't, Harley and I will likely sit outside =)

I just adore dressing up. This year we are going simple though. We are all wearing foil hats. So the aliens can't read our minds.

I always dress up, even if it's just a little.

This time it'll be a witch. Kinda cliche, but I found a really cool hat at a second-hand store after halloween last year, and I think it was $1.

I also have a very nifty little spider glove that I wear no matter what I'm dressed as. It's a friendly looking spider, a big round black ball of fuzz on top of a glove with 8 fingers. I use that to grab hold of the candy and drop it in the bag. The little kids love it, and usually try to touch/pet it.

I just wore a black t-shirt with a glow-in-the-dark ghost. Many kids kept asking "does that glow in the dark?"

Yes, I dress up. This year, I'm going as Lady Guinevere. :D

Yes, that is the SCA I meant. I don't belong but did attend a few events... and may get back into it once DD is a bit older since I think she'd enjoy some of it.

No we don't. Although, this morning DD informed us that Daddy was going to be Snow White  and Mama was going to be Cruella  . Wonder if that means anything?

I would like to, but the sad truth is that I'm usually to frelling tired to bother. Dang, I hate getting old! Back in my youth I used to get all decked out for Halloween. My favorite costume was 'the second fastest gun in the west'.
