Do you do these dances at weddings/parties? Or do you cringe when you hear the music?

I remember them doing it during the sail-away party. I told DH, that was our cue to go somewhere else on the ship.
LOL! speaking of the cha-cha slide...how do you do the "charlie brown?"
the cha-cha slide is just ridiculous...I despise it!!!
I hope I can explain it in words since I can't show you. You stand with one foot in front of you and the other behind you. Now you rock forward on one foot with the back foot off the floor and then backward on the other with the front leg off the floor. If you do it with a little speed, you have it.
.....*every-body clap-your-hands!*.....(clap,clap,clap,clap,clap...)![]()
cringe...absolutely cringe.
Thankfully the Cha Cha Silde wasn't out at my wedding but I told the DJ at our wedding if there was any hint of the electric slide played I'd pull the plug on him at that moment and there would be a stop payment put on his check. Same went for the YMCA, Celebration, Love Shack and Shout. Yes, we were that serious about NOT hearing these songs. I worked in the wedding reception industry for several years and DH worked as a wedding DJ and both of us would be happy to not hear any of those songs again.
They weren't missed.
I gave him an extra $50 at the end of the night to thank him for not playing it! LOL!
Boy you were serious, huh? LOL!
