For those of you who have resort mugs, do you display them in your home?
I have five mugs and have them lined up and displayed on top of my microwave oven. And in front of the mugs i have a Mickey and Minnie salt and pepper shaker. Just curious if any one else does the same thing. Can't have them hidden inside a dark kitchen cabinet :)

:coffee:I used to have them hanging on the wall in my computer room, until I redid the room. Now, they are on a shelf in my bedroom, except my Wilderness Lodge one. That's at work, since I use it daily for my hot chocolate. :surfweb:

We just redid our Lighthouse room and changed it into our Disney room. I never thought of putting the mugs on display. Great idea! Thanks :thumbsup2

Mine are on top of the cabinets in the kitchen. Recently the cat got up there and knocked down the new BC one and broke it. Thank goodness it's the new design and be replaced!

I've got about 10...all in a dark cabinet. Oh well. I've got a zillion other Disney things on display though.

We have a big family so we always have a ton of kids at our house. We use the mugs{resort and park} for them to drink from. They love picking from our collection and then that is "their" mug for the day! Saves on glasses and paper cups.

 me, :smooth: dh, princess: dd15, princess: dd11, pirate: ds4, princess: dd10mos.

Not my coffee mugs, I do however have several beer steins that I proudly display all over my house.

keep this on the down-low, but some of them aren't Disney related :ssst:

I have not thought about displaying them, we use them often. The Coronado Springs mug we got in January 1998 has held up very well.

I have a collection of about 50 Disney World mugs and I have many of them displayed right on my kitchen counter. I have a HUGE counter, so I bought two of those over the sink shelves, put one on either side of the sink in front of the windows and display my mugs on them. I'm a huge coffee person and I love my mugs, I have alot more that aren't Disney, it's fun to choose which one I'm going to use for the day, plus they make me smile when I'm at the sink doing dishes.

I actually used to have a "mug rack" that hung on the wall and had hooks to display mugs. I've been collecting mugs now too (I especially love the one I just got last week at Epcot....) and don't want to just hide them away in a cabinet. I plan on finding the ever elusive "mug rack" again and displaying them.....(I'll think of any excuse to shop......)

Few years ago, I built a huge glass curio cabinet for our priceless Disney item. It's just about full and I'm now thinking of another cabinet for more items, we're still going strong after 38 some trips. Each visit I tell my wife, we won't buy as much since we own everything but lo and behold, we do find something we must have, but hey, cabinetery is my hobby and we like displaying all our Disney treasures and yes, our refill mugs are as much a part of the memories as the expensive items.

Ours are usually in use!! But, I would display them IF I had more than the 3 different ones that we own!!! :thumbsup2

Only have 2 different ones, but use one everyday to take my coffee to work and remember the magic :goodvibes

:rotfl2: I'm doing that exact same thing. Lighthouse out Disney in!!

DH keeps his Goofy make your own slush cup from Goofy's Candy Co on his desk at work, and I have my WL, OKW/DVC and BC mugs at work for coffee, water, etc. On our last trip I bought the DVC water jug and I use that a lot too.

Hmmmmmm, now that I think about it, I have an Epcot mug in my display too....oh well. I already have a "WDW rep" at work anyway...
