Do you decorate your room? If so post a picture!

This will be our second trip to Disney during the holiday season. Last year we regretted not decorating our room so this year we are going prepared. I was wondering how many people decorate their rooms and would you care to share some pictures? I wouldn't mind stealing an idea or two.

Also do you decorate your deck/patio? I was considering bringing a few strands of lights but didn't want to upset the Disney police.

Just for information, there has been a recent reminder/directive from DVC to all the members that the outside of the resorts may not be decorated for the holidays. I'm sure they will try to enforce this with regular resort guests as well. So keep your planning to indoors.

Resort leaders offer holiday-decorating reminder

As Disney Parks and Resorts reflect the spirit of the season with a winter wonderland of holiday decorations, many Disney Vacation Club® Members are decorating their villas in similarly festive fashion.

While Disney Vacation Club welcomes the use of safe decorations that don't damage the finishes of the villa, resort leaders are reminding Members that all decorations should be contained within the villa interiors and therefore shouldn't extend to the balcony or other exterior areas.

This policy, included in Members' condominium documents, is designed to help preserve the carefully crafted architectural stories and visual themes for which Disney Parks and Resorts are famous.

We always decorate our room, I do not have pictures however we have done it a while now, I normally sneak back when my son is at the park or asleep and decorate, sort of adds to the magic!

Thanks for the info Vicki. I have seen patios decorated but I wasn't sure if that was a no no or not. We are DVC members, so regardless we will keep decorations inside.
