Two days into the tree and still not finished.

Big Disney fans that DH and I are- we don't have disney decor all over the house. We've contained our Disney collection to one room- the study (computer room). Disney lamps, beanies, snowglobes, pictures, hats, figurines, movies, pins, etc... are all on display. BUT- none of this can be found outside of the study. Don't know why :confused3 . I do, however have quite a disney themed christmas tree. We just can't help it. :earboy2:

My tree only has Disney Ornaments on it. I've been doing that for a couple of years. I ave pictures all over the house.I even have a Disney Channel Clock that looks like a wrist watch. Was given to me by the people I worked with.

We are constantly adding to our Disney collection thru out the house. Just added a patio room to the back, and this will be my new Disney room, nothing but Disney will be allowed in there. :earsboy:

Disney can be found all over my house!!!! If it couldn't it wouldn't be my house :earsgirl: Last night we just started putting up the tree 100+ Disney ornements (forgot to count this year as we put them on) plus 1 non Disney that was added today- a silver sleigh bell like from Polar Express.

I think Disney decorated houses are really cute, but I don't have one. I don't want my real life and my disney life to collide. I want to go to Disney and not have it look anything like my real life. I need Disney to be a break from reality

Please post photos.... of your home, office or Disney wall

Lets see some collections :cheer2:

We are in the process of finishing our basement (it's taking a veeerrryyy long time - darned contractors) & it will be a Disney family room & bathroom. We ordered a Disney door from Home Depot (one side is Mickey, the other is Nemo) & everything else is Disney also. We ordered 2 of the Mickey magnetic whiteboards from Disneyshopping.com & one matching mirror. I can't wait to hang them up. All of our other stuff will be in the rooms also. Can't wait til it's finished.

We have a Disney Christmas tree that we put up every year. I also have Disney Art hanging on the walls in our upstairs bedroom along with some special Disney pieces. We have periodic Disney "stuff" placed throughout the house, but I'm like the OP. I really don't want my Disney life to collide with my real life. I like the break of reality too!!!

We have an unfinished basement ... Disney is the theme for the bar/pool table area ... I hand painted Mickey and Goofy with pool sticks onto the wall and plan to do Tinker bell holding the eight ball this winter. On the floor we have the mono rail going around the pool table. We also have two vultures on a piece of drift wood with top hats on and the words "Your Going Down" on a banner as you go down the basement stairs ...
We love Disney ...
:grouphug: :hourglass we leave for the world in just 10 Days !!!!!!!

I will be in bed as it all starts to kick off at MK....seeing as I am from the UK

enjoy yourselves who ever is going....can't wait to read all about it tomorrow :teeth:

There are several threads that are similar to this one and I posted these before, but here are some shots of our living room at Christmastime.
(We have our Christmas tree in our great-room, and WDW in the living room).
Most of the "rides" are bought at WDW, Disneyland and DCA, but I built a "Splash Mountain" and a "Fantasmic!" (both with moving water effects). Plus added a few extra touches I thought worked with the theme that I found at other stores.
You'll also note the "Giant Cat Who Ate WDW"!!!!
These images are lower quality because they were "grabbed" from a video tape.

OOh the cat is soo cute.. He looks just like my cat Figment! That's an awesome display. As soon as I get the tree finished ( day three still not done) I will try to post some photo's.

We are in the proccess of finishing our basement, we are planning on making it all Disney. We have ordered a Finding Nemo door for the bathroom, and when we head down to WDW in January we are going to buy a ton of decorating suovineirs to put down there. We have our autograph books, lanyards, stuffed animals, everything all ready to put in our new family room.

Wow, Robo, great pictures! Thanks for sharing! I can't believe you built a mini Splash Mountain. You're like the Baldwin in Beetlejuice who builds a tiny mockup town!

if my house was big enough...
We do have one room that has disney items in it.. Then my girls are doing a princess chirstmas tree this year. I can't wait to see it when I get home from work tonight.. We got a 6 foot white tree with multi color lights.. Looked cool.

I have a few Disney ornaments for our tree. I am decorating our bathroom in Disney slowly but surely. In our hall way leading to the bedrooms I have quite a few pictures of us at WDW from our trips. Not sure how to actually decorate our home for Christmas like Disney since I haven't been there during that time.

wait... you mean we are NOT suppose to decorate like Disney?? :confused3
