I bring out my hanukkah Pooh bears, put out my Fisher Price Hanukkah kitchen and add glittery pinecones and dreidels for my dining table centerpiece. I have an inflatable polar bear with a dreidel for outside (just waiting for my DH to put it up).
What do you do?

Well, I used to put up a few decorations outside until people started destroying them or leaving me nasty notes. Now I put up some decorations inside (I love my Mickey star of David) to get into the spirit :)

How terrible!! why would someone be so hateful?

I'm happy that you have been able to take it in stride. Where did you get a Mickey Star of David?

They're just jealous :rotfl:

I got the star in the Christmas shop (believe it or not) at MGM. I think they have them in the Christmas shop in DTD too. It's really beautiful.

:thumbsup2 I have this and well as a Mickey menorah. Our Shalom banner and mezuzah are up all year round. I also have a Hanukkah music box that's quite pretty.

Does it count that our tree is all blues, greens, and silver? I have to admit, I have been unable to let go of my tree. My very good friend gets on me about this daily. :rolleyes1

LOVE the Mickey Star of David! :thumbsup2

I grabbed right as I saw it. I keep it up all year :)

Oh that's okay! My mom is a Christian and I help her decorate the tree every year. It's all in good fun ;) A Mickey menorah?! Awesome! I want one!

:goodvibes The menorah has Mickey in the middle. It's pewter and quite lovely. :cloud9:

Oh I forgot the kids each have a big "Jewish" Mickey. He's holding a gift and wearing a shirt with a Star of David.

That's terrible!! They have no respect for other's faith. They are very narrow minded people!
I love your decorations btw!

How ignorant!!

I haven't been able to find any Chanukah decorations in my area, I'll have to order online and then decorate. I'll probably just do something on my front door outside and inside and maybe something in my son's room. He was born on the first day of Chanukah last year! 25th of Kislev...can't wait for this year! :woohoo:

I'd love to find some more decorations, especially Disney but i'm not sure where to look! The Hanukkah Winnie the Pooh sounds so cute :)

I've had the Hanukkah Poohs for years. Each year I would buy one from the Disney Store in the mall.

Will be in WDW this Jan hope they still have the decorations!

Most of my lights are blue and white.

(thought about putting up lights in the shape of a Star of David.)

I wish there was a Disney store near me! Maybe they'll have their decorations on sale just after the holidays

I think I would injure myself if I tried to do that! :rotfl:

Its easy!!!

One year I made a 25 foot christmas "tree" I used small PVC pipe, spray painted green, then taped a couple sets of green mini-lights to it. then hoisted in into a tree in my yard. When lit, it was the trialgle shape of a tree. I even put a white star on the top.

:worship: Teach me your ways oh great decoration master!

A Star of David would be easy, just cut some white (small) PVC into 6 equal lengths, get some duct tape, and some while and blue lights!!

Hey I may actually try that. And i'll get to keep all my limbs! :rotfl: Grumpy Pirate to the rescue
