I am an Ebayer (mostly selling) and have been saving a little each week in my Paypal account to buy scrapbooking supplies on Ebay. So far I have just bought some die cuts but have bid on stickers, new albums, pre-made layouts, 12 x 12 paper..... Do any of you buy scrapbooking supplies on Ebay? What do you buy? If you have a favorite seller could you PM me their user name? Thanks!

I bought my Sizzix Lollipop ABC's on ebay last summer...it was a good deal--I think I paid $75 with shipping. I can't remember the seller's name, but it was someone who had a TON of positive reviews and maybe only 1 or 2 negatives. I was pleased. Just beware though-----most of the time it seems you can get a better deal in the stores themselves. And oh my gosh, some of the CM stuff I have seen on ebay is a crack up- stuff that is FREE if you attend workshops or a home show is going for $5-$10!!! Unbelievable. I guess maybe a lot of people don't have a CMC or don't want to go to the home classes/workshops...

I also sell on ebay (scrappinggrover), mostly hand made page kits..just add photos. So my favorite seller would be ummm....me! :) LOL. I also buy on ebay..albums and refills from coolgear - they are super quick at shipping, prices aren't bad either. I also buy other assorted things, fibres & embellishments. I have also bought a ton of things for my wedding on ebay and have saved myself hundreds in the process. (2000 flower petals, viel, cake topper, silk floral-my bouquet-2 bridesmaids bouqs-5 bouts-cake decorations). Right now I am searching for a good price on a mary heat gun for embossing..I am hoping to find one for 10.00 or so..anything more than that and I may as well buy it here at the craft store. With ebay you really have to know your prices and not get caught up in a bidding frenzy and also check the sellers feedback.

I am a newbie so any advice is appreciated! I have a CMC but can't usually attend the workshops or home parties because DH and I often work opposite schedules (nights and weekends) and that means during my non-work hours I am home with 10 month old dd (the subject of first scrapbook!). With her being in daycare full-time as it is I hate to leave her with a babysitting then too. So I buy most of my scrapbook supplies during my lunch hour (Ben Franklin crafts is 1/2mile from work), through my CMC or on Ebay. I guess I could host a home class at my house.

Grover, are most of your page kits for 12 x 12 scrapbooks unless otherwise specified? I noticed a couple of them said 8 1/2 x 11. You have a done a great job and I will keep checking your auctions. Thanks!

I buy from ebay from time to time. I am now trying to find for scrapbooking items and also Dora the Explorer items since that will be the theme for my daughter's party.

Ask your CMC about Crop Clubs. It is something kind of new CM is promoting to their customers. What you do is, coordinate a quarterly get together with your friends to scrapbook. It is 100% informal- it is NOT a class or show. Your CMC will stop by, demonstrate a new product or two, and also bring along tape runners, sticker, paper, etc., to purchase. Your CMC stays no longer than an hour, and then leaves. You get the benefits of having a class or show, without actually doing one- you will get the Thanks to You gift, along with any coordinator credits you may earn depending upon what people buy. It is *much* less "pressure" than a home class or show----it's basically just a night with your friends, doing what you love to do most, and then your CMC kind of brings the store to you and goes home...no high pressure selling.

I am promoting this to some of my customers who live more than a half hour away, who have a hard time making it to my workshops. This way they schedule it on their time and it takes much less effort on my part than a home show or class, and less prep time than my own workshops. Everyone is a winner.

Disneylvr...the 8.5 x 11 are complete page kits-meaning everything is allready attached to the background paper..just add your photos and slip into your book and your done! These have proven to be pretty popular for me..I suppose some folks are pressed for time!
The other kits do not come with background paper-just the various elements (topper, photo frames, journal boxes ect..) and can be used in either size album.
The ones I currently have on ebay are extra's from stock I had been making to sell at a LSS..just don't have the time to do it anymore (planning a wedding instead-yipee!).

I think Sandylion has a Dora sticker sheet... and she's big, not the little itty bitty stickers that I find hard to use.

Dora paper (closer to the bottom)

Dora border stickers (still looking for the stickers I know are out there... lol)

I found this at stickerplanet.com

Just gotta add my 2 cents worth. I've been looking at the Sizzix dies (both new and used) on ebay lately, as I just bought myself a machine. Most of the dies are selling at or even above normal retail (once you include S/H), so just be sure you know your prices before you bid. Many people get caught up in the bidding and get carried away! Of course, this advise holds true for almost anything you would buy on Ebay. But there are some bargains out there..... just keep looking....................P
