I never do, but my mom she has enough toilet paper in her basement to supply the whole dis for 5 years

I don't generally buy in bulk but something like toilet paper I would have no problem buying lots if it was a really good deal... one can never have too much TP

When I first move back up here to the lake, I do a very large "stock up" shopping trip - because it's 22 miles one way to where the big supermarkets are, Aldi's, Walmart, the Dollar Stores, etc.. So - I try to buy as much stuff ahead as I can (although I don't have a lot of storage room here)..

And if I hit some really good sales, I'll buy a lot more than I normally would.. I'm nothing like my sister-in-law though.. She basically has her own grocery store/pharmacy/Walmart in her basement..:rotfl:

yep Its tough right now though because I cant buy a lot with the impending move.

Yes, getting ready to buy another 1/2 a cow. I split it with my brother and for about 150$ (each) we get more than you could ever buy at a grocery store.

We like to go to Costco/BJ's for toilet paper, paper towels, the food basics (eggs, lunch food, frozen chicken, frozen veggies, etc...)

I hate shopping, so I like to stock up so we don't have to go so much.

Yes, I go to Sam's for tp, papertowels have lots of those. I like buying the big packs of meat too and then we divide them up and freeze them here.

I buy a few things in bulk, mainly non-perishable things like tp, paper towels, bottled water, cereal, etc. I also sometimes buy meats in bulk from Costco, and then freeze them into individual portions.

I do when the sale is good.

Like tonight I walked into a case lot sale and made out like a bandit!!

50 pack of HI-C juice boxes=$5.00

20 bottles of Aquafina water=$2.99

5lb container of Country Time Lemonade=$5.99

6lb container of Lipton Iced Tea=$4.99

Box of 6 VO5 shampoos=$2.50

48oz bottle of Miracle Whip=$5.29

2 15lb bags of Kingsford Charcoal=$10.59

We do, but I can't drive, so it makes sense for us to stock up on non-perishables whenever possible. We only go to the grocery store 2-3 times a month and to Sam's Club once a month. It helps us save a lot of money in many ways.

I don't buy in bulk, but I do buy a crapload of stuff in the grocery store so that I don't have to be always and forever buying toilet paper...and so that we don't run out. :)

I have 3 teenagers, need I say more. I don't know if it actually qualifies as "bulk" if they go through it all in week or two though. :lmao:

We do the same with my brother. He usually gets a cow given to him, by someone who needs car repairs (think Dr Baker from Little House). Then when we butcher, we split it, and the cost to feed/process it. I get a years worth of beef for about $50-60.

I buy paper towels, and toilet paper bulk. Also larger packages of chicken, and freeze it.

I shop at BJs at least once every two weeks or so. When there are good sales on things like paper towels, tissues or toilet paper at the regular supermarket we stock up. We have a pantry in part of the basement.

:scared1:

Let's hope it's the good stuff! Not that horrid scratchy kind! :haha:

I only really buy lots of cans of tuna, I only cook for myself and get through at least 2 or 3 cans a week!

Would love to, but don't have the room.
