I take 3 large pills a day- multivitamin, fish oil, and a supplement. I wasn't going to pack them, but I don't want to find myself tired or unfocused while at WDW. Is it necessary to bring them to keep energy up?

It is easy to get run down on a Disney trip with the heat, walking, and long hours. Not to mention it is a Petri dish of germs. I would bring them so my immune system stays as close to normal as possible.

Necessary? Probably not, but if your body is used to getting them, why deprive it? I always bring mine...force of habit - no different than brushing my teeth.

I bring mine, too. I actually upped mt Vit C/Zinc amount when I went last, too.
I did not bring the bottles, I used the snack size ziplocks and brought 2 more pills that I would need.

You're really the only one who knows how skipping them affects your particular body. that said, I bring mine along with all my other medications. It's just easier for me to stay with a routine.

As a nurse I suggest bringing and remembering to take them! Public places are a germ playground and keeping your immune system in check is important, as is replacing what you lost during the day with sweating, etc. It's easy to become rundown when you're spending hours in the heat and humidity and vitamins/supplements will help to curb some of that!

This but I use a pill organizer from the drug store.

I bring mine. I take about 9 pills each day (most are supplements) and I carry them with me. I am so glad I do, too!! :)

We always bring the vitamins/supplements that we're used to taking at home with us to WDW.

I take a refrigerated probiotic (Natren), refrigerated fermented cod liver oil/butter oil blend (Green Pasture), and a digestive enzyme.... and it goes with me wherever I travel. I'll take my probiotic and FCLO in the morning in the room, and take my digestive enzymes with me in a baggie to the park or restaurant we're dining at.

I always take mine. I got a pill organizer at the dollar tree that lets me store them by day & time of day, but each day's "tab" is separate.

So it's like 7 mini organizers with 3 compartments in each, morn-noon-eve. Each is only about 3 inches x 3/4 inch in size. I pack my supplements into them before leaving home & just toss the appropriate one into my bag in the morning. At the end of the day I toss the empty back into my toiletry bag/dig out the next day's. Easy peasy and since I take my supplements around meal times, I generally remember to take them. :thumbsup2

They look kinda like this, but only 3 tabs, not 4:http://www.forgettingthepill.com/products/weekly-pill-organizer-with-tray

i take supplements daily, for my training and general well being. If your intention is so your not tired i would remind you that you are at disney and more than likely be hyped up on sugar lol

in all seriousness if your used to taking them i would continue to do so, you have built up a level of immunity using those supplements and your body is used to that added level of minerals and vitamins, to deprive of that at disney you might end up catching a quick sniffel due to the sudden lack of vitamins.

ive been known to take a small tub of protein powder and hit the gym whilst on my honeymoon trip last year at AKL lol .... now powders and airports are fun they did a diptest and everything on my supplements.

I continue the same supplements that I take at home. I use a pill organizer so I know that I took them.

Since I take some in the morning and some in the evening, the difference in routine at WDW makes it easy to forget to take my meds and vitamins. The pill organizer also serves as confirmation when I wonder if I remembered to take my pills last night.

Yes I bring my vitamins in an organizer and some that I put in my park bag in a small pillbox that need to be taken with meals

I bring vitamin D, B13, Biotin, flaxseed, zegrid, Wellbutrin.. Lol

I take 12 supplements every morning! I make up a small ziplock bag for each day and take it with breakfast.

I carry Vit D, B12, Vit C, Fish Oil, Garlic, Magnesium and one more with me daily. I just put them in a baggie and take them during various parts of the day.

Not trying to give health advice on the internet, but this is a topic I know a great deal about. I wanted to mention that if you take all of your supplements together, you are not getting the full effects from them. Calcium should never be taken with other vitamins. Vitamins D and B12 should be taken together, but not with other things. Iron competes with zinc and calcium competes with magnesium. Probiotics should never be taken within a couple of hours of taking anything else. Vitamin E, fish oil and Vitamin A should taken with your fattiest meal of the day (if you have one). Herbs should be taken on an empty stomach.

Our bodies have a built-in mechanism to prevent us from absorbing too much of any vitamin or mineral at one time. If you take them all at one, much of what you are taking is lost and wasted, literally.

Vitamins should be taken throughout the entire day, with and without food, depending on the supplement.
