Maybe I'm funny like that, but I need a certain pillow. We will be there for 12 days and I can't imagine not having my pillow. So just wondering should I carry on the plane with me (mind you I have 3 children) or some how cram it in a suitcase? I really don't want to waste space with a pillow. Any ideas how to get my pillow to WDW? Also I need 4 pillows to sleep with (I know I'm weird) do you think the resort will give me a few extra? Thank you!:thumbsup2

Yup... I wouldn't beable to sleep without my favorite pillow. I just make sure I have a colored pillow case so they don't get mixed up.

Yes. We drive so my kids pack theirs for in the van. I pack a travel pillow and will use it in the room if my pillow there is too soft. I like a rock hard pillow.

No, I totally bring our pillows everywhere we go on vacation. The difference between you and I is that I drive wherever we go.

A few thoughts I had though-
1) Ship them via UPS/FedEx Ground--pillows don't weigh too much.
2) Get a SpaceBag and flatten those pillows, then pack at the bottom of your suitcase.

Lstly, yes, you can request more pillows from Mousekeeping. Each bed has 2 pillows, adn the room has an extra one in the closet (we stayed at Pop). So you will definitely want to request extra pillows!

Have fun! I miss WDW already...

Yep, I would Spacebag it if you can, especially when flying. We bring ours with us (we drive) and always pull them off the bed and put with our suitcases before we leave the room.

How do you "deflate" the spacebag for the return trip (flying) home? Its been a few years back when I used a space bag but I think I had to use my vacuum to deflate it.

You don't need a vacuum with the ones they have these days. You just roll it and the air goes out through a "magical" hole that doesn't let any air back in. They're great!

Be sure to get "travel" spacebags - they're different from the ones you use at home. They make them in several sizes (from small ones for your carry-on to larger ones for your checked luggage). As this poster says, you can simply roll the air out of them.

I bring my own pillow and blanket!! gotta have my temperpedic pillow and mickey fleece blanket!! I packed them in my luggage but it was too heavy coming back so I had to carry my blanket as a carry on:rotfl: I just went to the disney store in the airport and asked for a bag to put it in:rolleyes1 oops!

Thank you so much! You have made my day, I'm going to the store soon as the kids get off the bus. My first thought was space bags but I also thought a vacuum was needed.:cheer2: :yay:

It's a darn good thing! Could you imagine how in the world you would pack the darn vacuum so you could make your space bag work coming home?! LOL!:rotfl:     Aint I a stinka?

How do things come out of the space bags? Are they pretty wrinkled? And for the pillows...does their shape come back? I, too, have a favorite pillow that I really want to bring along, but I don't want to ruin it, either:)

I was pregnant on our last trip and needed lots of pillows to get comfortable. I had no problem getting extras sent up. :thumbsup2

I have to have my pillow. I just have it as a carry-on and then either DS or I sit on it while on the plane.

I just leave mine on the bed and have never had a problem. I use a Disney themed pillow case while on vacation. Don't use a plain white pillow case. I wouldn't want Mousekeeping thinking it was one of theirs and take my pillow case to laundry and never see it again. :rolleyes1

We bring ours, we just put them in our suitcases.

I bring my own pillows everywhere. I NEED mine!
