I was wondering if any of you bring an Mp3 or Ipod on vacation, I bring my cute little mp3 with me, but I mostly just listen to it on the roadtrip there. how bout you?

i do. i listen to it on the plane but i don't bring it to the parks. i wouldn't want it to get stolen or broken. i keep it in the hotel room.

Yea.
I bring it for the roadtrip up to Disney.

yup i listen to my ipod on the roadtrip or i watch HSM on it

I did once. I hung it on the end of my lanyard so it wouldn't get lost and listened to it when we were waiting around for buses and such. I'll probably bring one again next time.

Just in the plane.
I would never bring mine to the parks.

I only use it for the plane ride.
I hardly ever use it once I'm at Disney though.

i might bring bring it with me on the trip there, but i wouldn't take it to any of the parks because i wouldn't need to use it

Like most everyone that posted, I bring mine for the plane ONLY. I would NEVER bring it into the park. I think it's very disrespectful to the people around you. I see people waiting in line or even just wandering the parks with them and to be perfectly frank, I look at them, roll my eyes, usually make a rude comment (not directly to them but I certainly don't soften my voice any), and wonder why they even bothered to come. I think it couldn't be any more rude.

I don't understand how it is rude and disrespectful?

I think it's rude that people think that there is nothing else to do but do something that they could do at any other moment in their lives. I think it's rude that I paid a lot of money to get there and they couldn't care less about what is happening then. I think it's disrespectful that people spent THAT much time and effort into creating the spot where they are standing and listening to their iPod ignoring all of it. It ruins my magic, among other reasons.

I bring my Ipod to listen to on the plane and from Orlando International to the hotel room. That's basically it, unless I listen to it before bed or when we have some down time in the hotel.

I bring it to listen to on the way down, and before bed each night (or, I mean to, I usally end up watching Top 7 Must-Sees At The Walt Disney World Resort). I saw so many people at the parks with those white earbuds on...it made me sad. You are at Disney, people! BE at Disney World!

Ditto. If you're there to just wander around and listen to your mp3 player instead of the sounds of actually being at Disney, why bother going?

I bring mine for the car ride to the airport and the plane ride down.
