Just curious if any of you that tour the parks on mobility devices do any special decoration to your ride while you are at WDW? If so, have you ever had anything fun happen as a result of the decoration?

Just curious.

My friend sometimes uses glow sticks, but I have seen other guest ( mostly kids) with some really cool things one kid had his wheel chair that looked like he was in a rocket, it is so cool. He got a lot of commits when he went by.

I'm interested in some easy ideas to bling up my rental ECV too. Great idea!

I put battery operated Christmas lights on the basket.

Last year I added bead type garland. But I wasn't thrilled about how it held on.

I make some random Park/character specific laminated paper license plates that we zip tie on the basket. Depending on what time I have they may be clip art printed off computer or cut out of scrap booking paper and stickers.

So the craft store Michael's is loving me. After much thought, I decided to work mostly with craft foam, since I have concerns about rain messing up any work that I might do. I plan on attaching with crafting pipe cleaners.

For her, I created basket signs for each of our four park days and a license plate for the back of her scooter. She loves all of them. We will be at Disney over Easter and we will be there for my wife's 60th birthday as well. I will see if I can't snap some pics here in a bit.

Oddly enough, after creating all of those, I am now stumped on what to do for my own scooter. lol

I bought one of the Mickey bike bells for my rollator mostly for fun, but also for the people who jump in front/stop suddenly when I have less control, which many of the characters seem to have fun with. The Jawas in particular were a huge fan of it and sat there ringing it for a bit. I also get some battery-operated lights for when we enter a dark area/after sunset I can be sure both my ride and the path in front of me are fully visible.
Occasionally Ive also been known to sling my Mickey Cooler bag onto for water it if it seems like it's going to be an extra hot day.14484746_10209175839060286_1776843488408705687_n.jpg 14484990_10209175839500297_5817685367777779533_n.jpg

I always have my AP sticker of course and then I put different Disney character plush toys on the dash when I am parked. I have Lots 'O Huggin, various Mickeys, and Remy!

This is the sign for the last day, which will be largely spent with a focus on Fantasyland with a break for Afternoon Tea at the GF.

I put some stickers on my back of my personal ECV - but my backpack covered them up.

Most of my "hacks" are comfort related, but do I have LED bias lights that I ran under my personal ECV; they slowly cycle through about 16 colors, and make the ground under my ECV "glow" at night.

I get tons of positive comments every trip; I am my own Main Street Electrical Parade wherever I go!

I have some brightz led lights that are going to be mounted somewhere, maybe around the basket. And my little purple and pink Pom Pom streamers with tiny pinwheels always get attached. They're made to insert into handlebars but I usually zip-tie them to each side of the basket. I usually attach my Tinkerbell bicycle horn but I can't seem to find it so don't know if that's going on this next trip or not. Gee, I don't know why my ECV always seems to attract so many little kids...:goodvibes

Hey, I always say that at WDW I act my shoe size, and not my age!!! ;)

I have lights on my wheelchair, and I find that it means the comments I get are not about my medical history or the run of the mill stupid comments like "You use that real good" or "I wish I could sit down all day." I get fun comments about my lights and they are much more fun to hear.

I ordered some LED lights to attach to the basket. I also plan on attaching a Duffy birthday bear to the front of the basket as a type of maidenhead. I'm curious to see what kind of comments I'll get.
