A few days ago when we were at Beaches & Cream the table in front of us had all ordered the Kitchen Sink and our server told them and us that 1 person by himself ordered the Kitchen Sink and finished it in 9 minutes. Now I can't see why our server would say something like if it wasn't true, so can you see anyone ordering that by themselves and finishing it in under 10 minutes?

I expected there to be a link to a video in this, for some reason
I was so excited to watch it hahaha
that's really impressive

Can't begin to imagine the massive pain of the headache that comes with that feat, as well as how badly your mouth and throat must hurt after the thaw begins. :scared1:

I, too, thought brain freeze would take the person down. Also, you'd really have to eat pretty darn sloppily, wouldn't you? Ick!

I could technically see this happening. Have you seen those competitive eaters? Like the ones that eat 50 hot dogs in 10 minutes, etc. They can scarf down food like no ones business. I think they have some kind of breathing technique that allows them to inhale food. Weird, lol.

If someone could eat a ridiculous amount of hotdogs in that time I am sure it is QUITE possible ,especially for a competitve eater

The server probably said that to the table to encourage them to try and beat the (non-existent) person's record of eating the Kitchen Sink in 9 minutes. If nothing else, it would be VERY entertaining to watch for everyone!

Even Adam Richman of Man vs. Food would have a hard time eating all that ice cream in 9 minutes...

It took Adam from M vs F a lot longer than 9 mins to do something similar in, I think, San Fransisco somewhere. He also ate a plate of salty fries to combat the sweetness. I think the server in question was trying to pull a fast one, I just can't see 9 mins being physically, mentally and emotionally possible.

The only time I ever saw him try to eat ice cream products (milkshakes), he failed and then failed again when he upchucked..he doesn't seem to do ice cream well.

I saw the episode of Man vs Food where he tried the Kitchen Sink. It took him close to an hour if I remember correctly.
