Do YOU Believe?
When I started planning this trip a few weeks ago, I was asked by my 7 year old if there was a Santa. I answered just like my mamaw had answered me many years ago. "What do you think?" and with that she was on her way. I have always believed in the magic of Christmas, and I love the season in general.
I love spending time with my family and friends. I hate trying to find the perfect gift and I hate even more when I go to play a game with my kids and the pieces or missing- or in the case of the pink DS that we had to have last Christmas- lost!
Memories never end up in a landfill.
So I began to formulate the plan that instead of gifts for our girls and each other I would rather spend a week at Disney. It would be a surprise and I would be the super secret planner with my husband of 12 years. We knew it was meant to be when we received a pin card in the mail for free dining. We have spent many nights whispering to each other about meal ideas and things we can't wait to see. Thank goodness for wireless Internet access!!
The Cast Members:
Me 32
- Mommy, wife, Nurse, during the day. Super secret Disney mission operator by night. I have loved all things Disney for as long as I can remember. I cry when I see the castle. I cry when I see my kids and my hubby having fun. This is totally out of character for me, as I am not a crier in general.
DH 31-
Daddy, hubby, floor contractor during the day. Co conspirator at night. He is a Disney convert. I pulled him over to the light side last year, Had only been as a teen ager and totally missed out on the magic.
DD12-
fun-loving, sensitive, Disney Loving!! Tinkerbell is her fav. and of course, she loves the Jonas Brothers.
DD7-
tomboy, loves the action, sport fanatic!! loves Disney- says she doesn't like the princesses but can't wait to see them when she is in the World.

fashionista, "pink is my signature color", the baby- Loves Disney maybe as much as I do!
Mam75-
I twisted her arm to join us. raised me from birth, my GM, hauled me all over the states for competitions and vacations. My best friend.

his first visit to Disney, I can't believe he has agreed!
On on with the story-
Here is our game plan:
We are hoping to surprise the girls on Sat Dec 12. I haven't made up my mind if I am going to have a package delivered to them with trip details or just wake them up in the middle of the night and say lets go!! They like sunrises so it is not an issue!
I am pulling them out of school for a week. We will be leaving on Sat am- driving to Brunswick, Ga and then on into Orlando on Sun- staying where to be decided as I am going to Hotwire a place for both.
We are checking into Port Orleans Riverside on Monday December 14 and checking out December 20th.
Driving half way to Columbia, SC then on to WV/OH on Monday Dec 21.
