Do you believe in ghosts? I do believe in them. Ever since I've seen A Haunting I'll never be able not to believe in ghosts. (A Haunting is PG or PG-13 not sure what the TV rating is.)

no.

And is that the movie about the bell witch?
It's a TV show about people's experiences with ghosts. IMHO the second one is scarier than the first. I only watched 4 episodes.

Hm. There is a movie set very close to where I live about hauntings and such with a similar name. I got them confused.

The only hauntings that I've seen in one specific place would be in the Flordia Keys. Still scared of one of them that was on there. (This wasn't on A Haunting, it was on the Travel Channel.)

No, not really.
Sure I would be a little spooked if I were in a house someone died in, but I think it's more the memory that bothers me. I mean, I don't think there's spirits floating around closing doors and haunting around.
It's obvious there's not such thing as the transparent ones, we would have seen them by now. But most of the information that I have read/saw regarding whether ghosts and spirits are real is not very credible.

The reason I stopped watching it was because I had a dream that my house was on a episode of A Haunting. My family was sitting at the kitchen table. I kept on looking behind me, because I knew that there is a ghost that kept on going behind me.
Then I heard a really loud "creek" sound. I saw the floors being pulled out. I heard a scared "meow" from one of my cats. I wanted to run, but I didn't want to go off set. I called all my cats names. Then one of the cats came right next to me and just said "m." (She was too weak to speak.) She had one eye left, and had a lot of fur taken out of her. She was skinny to begin with, so I knew she was going to die. The end of the episode has me crying because my cat was dead by this ghost. :sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

"I believe in movies; I don't believe in ghosts." --Harrison Ford

That's my reply whenever anyone asks me if I believe in ghosts.

I believe that there are demons in the world that can manifest themselves as ghosts to make people believe in the dark arts and such, but I also believe that the human psyche and overactive imaginations are responsible for most "hauntings". I know that even in my totally non-haunted room, if I imagine well enough I can feel the feelings associated with hauntings. I think that the majority of hauntings and ghost sightings (along with alien encounters) are products of a combination of the in-born fears of humans (like being trapped, being underground, spiders, etc.), too many horror films, and a good dose of imagination. I've never heard of a die-hard skeptic that was ever haunted. Wonder why that is? :confused3

That being said, I used to believe in ghosts. I quit when it became too frightening, and guess what? When I stopped believing, I stopped being frightened, and the "haunted" feeling of my house stopped too.

I do. Although I have never been haunted by one, my friend can sense them. He can always sense the presence of my deceased Aunt Mary.

I do. I guess I just haven't found a reason not to believe in them, lol. And it's just sort of fun to. :p

But sometimes I'll feel someone watching me, when no one else is around, or those mysterious gusts of cold wind. So I like to say it's a happy haunt, lmao...

I'm starting to believe more and more. :) lol

The reason? Gettysburg College and the surrounding town of Gettysburg are one of the most haunted places in America. Seriously, all the dead soldiers from the Civil War come back and haunt they place where they died and were not properly buried.
Me and my friends went on a ghost tour a few weeks ago about the Ghosts of Confederate Soldiers. Really scary since it was at 11pm. lol

I was given a reason to believe in them a long time ago and after that, I can't NOT believe in them. So, yes, I definitely do.

I also believe that on average, a person can't really believe in ghosts or spirits unless they witness or live in a situation that forces reason to do so. Most humans (Americans in general) often live by the subconscious idea that to see is to believe.

I dunno if i do or not.........some pretty strange things happened to me in the past and today...

.Once we were in a cottage and there was a graveyard next door to us the that night my brother said he saw this ghostly figure with red hair at midnight peer into my room........i was asleep though so i didn't see so i thought he was lying..But then mum said that she saw too.........But then it could of been my Granny with her red towl on her head after having a shower........But why would she be up at Midnight???

.When i was in bed one night my school blazer moved and the sleeve looked like it was stretching out to me.......But that could of just been me thinking about it and looking at my blazer too much (so could of been just my eyes)

.My friend said they saw a flash of light from behind the bushes going into the sky...But they said it could of just been the sun

.And today the shoes fell of the shoe rack thing where we put our shoes....But that just could of been me putting my shoes on there awcrawdly

If stories are going to be told. Here is one of the minor things that happened at an old house of ours.

My mom was in the kitchen and saw that all the cubbard doors and drawers were open, everything. So she went and closed it all. She left the room for not more than a minute or so and when she returned back to the kitchen, everything was open again. With a similar situation, my mom was vaccuuming and had the windows closed because it was cold out, yet the air was still still. All the doors in the house swung open and then slammed shut tight. They did it again a few more times in a row.

I, for one, believe in ghosts...whatever the apparition may be (whether "ghosts" are of dead people or are just some worldy phenomenon).

Yes I believe in them 100%. I have seen 2 ghosts in my house (both in my room). The first one I saw was of a tall, young, skinny woman wearing a white dress standing by my door and then disappearing. The second one was of a little boy who was wearing clothes from the 1920-30's range. The most noticeable part of that one was the hat he was wearing. It looked like this:

There is also a ghosts at six flags great adventure. There is many stories about haunted rides there and this is the one I saw. On Batman The Ride at night if you look to the right at the top of the lift hill you will see the ghost of the girl who died on Lightning Loops. (which was the roller coaster that Batman was built over) The same ghost is sometimes also at the top of the train on the final brake run and when she is there she messes with the lights in the station and sometimes messes around with the stereo. (which didn't happen when I saw but everything else did happen) If anyone that has great adventure as ther home park (I know a couple people have that) feel free to ask me about any great adventure ghost story because I know most of them and which are real or fake.

My personal opinion on ghosts is that they weren't supposed to die when they did, so now they wait until they can go to Heaven. :)

i believe in ghosts because i like to believe in them :) (i also like the shows on Living TV like Most Haunted and Derek Acorah's Ghost Towns) also there's supposed to be a ghost on POTC called George who was killed during the making of the ride

I don't think the POTC one is true (not saying it couldn't exist though) because there is always rumors of a death during the construction of a ride. There is also one (I didn't see) on the Jurrasic Park ride in Universal. One of the ride operators on another forum told me that.

Yeah, I have a very similar idea to that.
