When we were in Orlando in September we went to the Titanic Exhibit at the Mercado. I had read online that this exhibit was supposedly haunted etc. Well no one that worked there said anything about it being haunted so after the tour was over I asked the girl who led our tour. She looked shocked at first that I even knew about it but then she admitted that yes both the captain of the Titanic and a little girl named Katheryn had been seen.

Well when we got home and got the pictures developed we noticed something strange. Now its probably nothing or just a conincedence but we took this pic of my mom standing by a statue of the captain. Look at it and then look at the picture where I magnified it and I swear it looks just like the captain looking at you with his captains hat on.....can yall see this??

Its right in between mom and the captain's chest under that second "light"

and where I blew it up

I swear I'm going to be on the next "you might be a red neck if.....you see ghosts in your Titanic Pictures" but its weird!

I didn't see it but that doesn't mean it's not there. I believe in ghosts! I have film from Gettysburg (Devil's Den) that I don't want to develop...afraid of what I might see:eek:

I swear I'm going to be on the next "you might be a red neck if.....you see ghosts in your Titanic Pictures" but its weird!

What??????????????? ROTFLMBO!!!!!!!! :teeth: I thought rednecks were farmers whose necks got red from being in the sun, not because they saw ghosts! ROTFLOL! :p

I don't see it Beth, but what you said had me roaring! :p

you have to much time on your hand, and evidently so do I, I am reading this stuff

LOL! Being a red neck is a term that some people use to refer to southerners in general....its stupid but Jeff Foxworthy made a bundle off of it.

In the second picture look right under the light (which is the flash reflecting off a bolt) its easier to make out the hat first with the captain insignia and then you can make out the beard and then the face. Its about an inch under the light on the same side as my mother.

I do think I see it! It is just the head, very small? Guess I might be a redneck too ;) .

Valerie YES!!! Just the face!! He has on the captains hat with the insignia and then you can make out his beard and then the face!

I'm so happy to know I'm not the only Red Neck...ROTFLMBO!!!!

I can't say I can see exactly what it is Beth, but I can see there's something weird there!!

Probably a reflection of some sort. . . but considering the rumors it is interesting!! :) :) :)

If Valerie is from "up North" here in Ct, can she still be a redneck???

Is he looking a little to his right....so you see his left side of his face??.......

Hummm....

thats a good question Krisu....I don't know...LOL! Red necks are generally steriotyped as southerners who are "hicks" for lack of a better word. You know live in a 50 year old single wide trailer with at least one car on a cement block and about a dozen dogs laying around the front yard...Oh and it doesn't hurt to have a velvet picture of Elvis above your couch, and a Velvet Jesus about your bed. Oh and at least 20 empty beer cans lying around. (Thank you Jeff Foxworthy for the meaning...LOL)

I'm actually LOL thinking about it. But to actually see a ghost in a Titanic picture has to mean something...added to the fact that I'm a Southerner who did used to live in a trailer and I have 3 dogs. No velvet paintings or empty beer cans or cars on blocks but I think the ghost picture gets me around the rest...ROTFLOL!!!

I saw it right off the bat.....and have been known for coming from a "psychic" family....It is really creepy. Is this the same Titanic exhibit that is "traveling"??......There is the Titanic exhibit in Detroit now and hopefully we will be going this spring.

Wow Lisa now that really makes it weird that you saw it that quick. I don't know if this one is traveling. This is the one that has been in Orlando for quite a few years now. Its very very well layed out and very interesting. Another thing that was weird while we were touring it there was one spot...nothing out of the ordinary, just one place in the room with the artifacts that was freezing cold.....the rest wasn't, just that one place. It gave me and John chills to just walk to it. It was actually in a corner by a really eery painting of the captain standing on the staircase AFTER the Titanic had sunk. It was title "after death" or something really weird like that and it was deathly cold.

You can find bits and pieces about the hauntings on the internet. They young girl who did our tour said that the little girl, Katheryn, that haunts it likes to throw things around to get your attention. I have always found things like this amazing. I love reading about hauntings and psychic things. I just got through reading a Nora Roberts trilogy on witches and now I am so interested in that.

That stuff really intrigues me too. I have had a few "experiences" in my house too....actually DD#1 has seen my uncle that used to live in my house....and he has been dead since 1980!!

I think the weirdest things that have actually happened to me is that when my aunt died...I was very very close to her I knew it before I got the call. I just knew.

Another thing when my father passed away, my mother and I were getting ready for the funeral and my mom said "I just wish I knew he was okay" and at that exact moment the curling iron literally slides across the sink and falls to the floor.

Another....I had a miscarriage when John-Cole was around 4 years old and a few weeks later I was sitting outside watching John-Cole swim in one of those little Wal-Mart pools and he said "mommy don't worry about our baby?" I said "What??" He said "In my minds eye I see our baby and he is just fine." I will never forget that. He also told us when he was younger that he chose us to be his parents.
