I don't know if I believe in it or not. I feel like the analysis of Pisces fits me very well, but then sometimes my horoscope doesn't fit.

Do you believe in the compatibility between signs? For example the best matches for Pisces are Scorpio and Cancer.

I don't think that is correct. My past two boy interests have been Cancers and neither worked out well.

What do you think about all of this? Do you and your bf/gf/crush match up according to the stars?

Eh, I think they're fun, but I don't know if I believe them.

Aquarius fits me very well and sometimes my horoscopes are correct but other days I'm wondering what the heck it was talking about.

I don't really believe compatability between signs, but I haven't dated anyone.

I believe in it, for the most part. I have a lot of odd beliefs though...
Most of everything about my being a Libra has been right on the money.

I'm lazy when it comes to work, I have intense intuition about other people and things, very observant, etc. I'm pretty shallow sometimes, prone to get very angry at some things, yet remain calm at others... I don't know; it all fits for me.

Horoscopes... I have more trouble believing these but I have had a few key ones that actually prepared me for really suckish days.

I do have odd beliefs, though, as said.

no. i think the horoscopes and descriptions are vague enough that everyone will find what DOES fit them, and just gloss over what dosen't. its also a self fufilling prophecy.

I believe it. I do my own forcasts, too. Even teh ones I get in the newspaper always seem to be right. One that was in our local paper a few years ago said that "a Pisces would make you very happy today". This guy I really liked, who was a Pisces asked me out later that day. One of my favourites, though, that I can piece together is the one that was on my birthday in the local paper:

"You'll be an inspiration to others this year and all you have to do is follow your heart's dictates. What you enjoy also brings happiness to those around you. A struggle ends in August. Loved ones reunite in October. January brings a business boom. Investments double in March. Wedding bells ring in May. Virgo and Pisces adore you."

The first sentence: I haven't gotten anything this applies to yet.
The second sentence: I'm in a dorm where almost everyone likes the same movies and music as me.
Third sentence: A co-worker of mine who I had come to be attatched to lost his battle with Cancer on August 16th.
Fourth sentence: I recently traveled to Maryland to see my brother for the first time in 8 years. My dad was overwhelmed with happiness at seeing Sean again.
Fifth sentence: January is a big month for skiing here in NH and I work in the ski industry.
Sixth sentence: I have no idea what happens in March.
Seventh sentence: My cousin's boyfriend told me he's thinking of proposing over Christmas, so who knows?!
Eighth sentence: My boyfriend is a Virgo. My best friend is a Pisces.

And the typical description for a Cancer fits me to a "t": Emotional and loving; Intuitive and imaginative; Shrewd and cautious; Protective and sympathetic; Changeable and moody; Overemotional and touchy; Clinging and unable to let go. LIKES: Hobbies, Romance, Children, Home and Country, Parties. DISLIKES: Aggravating situations, Failure, Opposition, Being told what to do, Advice (good or bad).

I don't know anything about it so no I don't believe it.Though I think that just because someone has the right sign or whatever to be your match doesn't mean they are. Also I'm one of those people that believes everyone controls their own destiny.

I don't believe in Astrology because if you are a Virgo you are ment to be neat and shy. That is wrong for a start and I have never been out with a boy that matches my star sign.
Someone was most likely bored on a saturday night so made up star signs.
This is what happens in my head. Now you can understand how my brain works! lol

i dont.
generally, i ignore it. partly for "religious" reasons, partly because i think its stupid. i looked up the personality traits for a scorpio (which im supposed to be) and they dont describe me very accurately.
i dont think that when you were born has anything to do with who you are, thus you cannot find your match based on star signs.

lol horoscopes are like fortune cookies to me. No matter what they say, I can always find a way to relate them to my life. And I assume that's the case for most people.

It's like anything really bits will apply to a person while others won't its not a complete thing of one person =-)

I don't think that is correct. My past two boy interests have been Cancers and neither worked out well.
Same as above it varies from person to person what works for some doesn't for others (nothing is ever 100% correct). Just like horoscopes, theres no way it can apply to all people of that starsign (and its generalised for a variety of people to that starsign, unless a person does it themselves which would be more personal of course).

I do believe in astrology, but through my own personal experiences (I've never had religion tell me somethings wrong everything is learnt by myself...).

Yes, I do. I don't like my life by it, and I'm not like "Oh he's a Leo not a good match for my Taurus so I won't date him" but I definitely think it plays part in our personalities. Sometimes my horoscope is right, sometimes it's wrong - but the defining parts of Taurus are me to a T.

Nope, I don't. It goes against my beliefs.

Just curious, do you mean beliefs like how a Jehovah Witness can't celebrate Halloween or their birthdays? Or is Astrology considered, like, witchcraft? I'm not trying to start anything at all, I'm just curious because I've never heard that before!

Well for me, it's simply because the bible condemns it. Anything that is not from the Word of God, is forbidden. Just like we aren't supposed to believe in psychics, or any kind of 'guessing' if you catch my drift, and yes, it is considered witchcraft.

oops i didnt quote but i was respondind to Sonya lol xD

i think horoscopes are BS written by journalists who can't write real stories (simply because i've been on the inside of newspapers). BUT, i do think that the cosmos affect our lives. Example: if you have surgery on a full moon, you bleed more freely. there are more police calls on a full moon. coincidence? i don't think so. the moon's pull on our tides affects our bodies. as i'm sure other star signs do, but i don't think horoscopes are anything more than a little bit of fun.

i wouldn't say that its witchcraft exactly. its more like getting involved with things of a supernatural nature, like demonic spirits and that sort of thing. if that makes sense

At the time of the creation of the bible things that were considered witchcraft then are now part of our everyday lives (yes, even medicine's in some cultures were done by what is considered "witchcraft"...and magnets (north and south thing) was...alot of things that scientists have figured out were once considered to be of a supernatural element)...and how I worked it that is terrible =-/

I do believe that the horoscopes in magazines are for fun and nothing more, well I've never met a friend who deals in astrology pick up a newspaper for such things (and its impossible for them to make a horoscope for people belonging to a star sign that will affect each person individually, not possible when you think about it).

I never believed in horoscopes until I started reading The Onion. Like my reading for this week is 'You've heard the saying 'you are what you eat' many times before, but prosecutors will surely describe you as anything but an innocent newborn.' Ahhhahaha that's terrible, but I think it's funny.
