Do you always follow your plan??

we plan and use as a guide depending on weather. As we have been plenty of times parks are much easier for us but we still get there at rope drop do our fav rides and get FPs for later in the day.Remember the time on the FP is a guide you can use it any time that day from the start time
We usually head back to hotel in afternoon for a swim and to freshen then head back to the park to use our FPs gained in the morning and watch fireworks usually the theme parks take up 4 days of our stay and Water-parks4-5 with pool days thrown in unless we have bought longer tickets like Flex pass for universal and bush or have a AP

Well I never knew that you know I thought you had to go back to the ride with your FP at the time stated - DOH!! Good job I've learned you don't have to - I take it you just go back anytime after the stated FP time and get straight on! Love that !

Thats right, unless Disney change it a fast pass is valid anytime on the day of issue after the start time.

I have to say I never really plan! As I know I won't stick to it :lmao:

What I always do though is Magic Kingdom first day and then I like to just go to the bus stop and hop on the first bus that comes! Adds some extra fun to the day.
Obviously if I wanna go to a water park it's different as I have to prepare but then I still get whichever bus comes first out of the water parks! :goodvibes

Its a bit easier for us as we dont have any kids to worry about so when in the parks we can just do what we want (sooo selfish I know :lmao: )

I have made a few ADRs for this trip and as we have 2 days onsite we will stay around Disney for those 2 days.

Otherwise we have our "must dos" "maybe dos" and "if we have time dos".

We will generally talk about the next days plans over dinner, as by then we'll have a good idea of weather etc, but if we wake up and decide we want to do something else we do that instead.

We will fit in all our "must dos" and most of the "maybes" and if there is a spare day we take it as it comes.

I take a rough idea of the busy day guides and check out the EMH parks (totally messed this up last year for our first day and got sooo stressed about it as I had wanted it to be "perfect") so we can avoid them. We try to be at the parks for opening too.

We usually follow our plan for the first week but after that start chaging things depending on how tired we are etc :goodvibes

We never plan, we go with the flow! Sometimes we decide the night before where we will go the next day and then wake up and fancy somewhere else so there is no point in us planning anything because we wouldnt stick to it!

That being said, we have been going every year for the last 9 years so getting on all of the rides etc isnt a massive deal for us, if the waits are too long, we skip them no problem and mainly just take in the atmostphere of the parks!

I have never been on one of them sites that advise on how busy the parks are each day, we go where we fancy and I doubt I would use one! Different things work for different people though, maybe when I have children my plan may change but for now, me and DH just go with the flow! :cool1:

Before children, we went with the flow and didn't plan a thing. Since the children come along and especially with Free DDP we hav always planned. Planning is based around ADR's and show times like Fantasmic or special firework nights. Having said that alhough we all pick rides, shops and snacks it is not a miitary operation!

I really enjoy planning the trip before hand, but as for day to day plans:

I pick what park we visit each day - based roughly on EMH / Party Nights / Fantasmic Nights etc. Then make ADRs (esp this year as with DDP), and go with the flow once we are in the parks.

The last couple of days of the trip i have put aside to visit anywhere - so if we haven't done things / want to do things more there is room for that. Got to love planned spontaninity! :thumbsup2
