do you allow your dog on the couch?

Leather chairs and livingroom furniture....Nope..not allowed. Well....the cat is allowed. He's 18 yrs. old....with age comes privilege. I put a towel down for him.

Both dogs and the cat are allowed on all beds and the couch and chair in the den.

Don't have inside dogs but my cats are allowed anywhere they want to go!

on the couch.... the bed his sleep number is 15 LOL ... pretty much anywhere his little heart desires !

It looks like there are a lot of animal lovers, like me,
who love WDW too!:)
Between my 83 year old mother and myself we have 3 dogs and 6 cats. Only one cat stays in the house along with the 3 dogs; a 7 year old cocker spaniel , a 5 year old miniture schnauzner and a 2 year old peekpoo. After I brought the peekapoo home mother said, No More Dogs! Yes they have the run of the house, but they are so cute;) It's hard to leave them when we go away for any length of time. I am hoping my mother will not back out at the last minute to stay home with our animals when we go to WDW next summer. It's difficult to leave our dear pets behind to be boarded. Even though we know they are taken care of well.

Yep, Maddy (our 5 yo weimaraner) lays on the couch. She isn't allowed upstairs though.

Ruby, our 70 pound Beagle/English Fox Hound cross, is allowed on the love seat because we place a sheet over it. She knows that is "her" space...as long as we don't have guests and the sheet is not on there. She sleeps on the kids beds if she wants, but not ours...I can't sleep with an animal on the bed as I am a very light sleeper. She also has her own pillow. Our cat, Maxi, sleeps anywhere she wants. I tell people that see her laying across the kitchen counters that this is her house...she only allows us to live there with her.

Of course! They are part of the family aren't they? Mine is just like another kid to me. She has the run of the house and she thinks she is a people too! LOL

Technically No, In reality -- sometimes, lol. I have the hard and fast rule of no shadow may not lay on the sofa, chairs, beds or anywhere except the floor. On the other hand my dd Ashli has been letting the dog sleep in her bed for years. I didn't realize the dog actually slept in her bed for a long time and then it seemed pointless to make her stop. But twice in the last year Ashli has slept in my bed and the dog REALLY wanted up there too. I felt mean saying no so I let her. And if Ashli runs upstairs and gets her comforter off her bed and brings it downstairs to the sofa to cover up while she's down there shadow gets all excited and tries to hop up on the sofa. She recognizes the comforter as something she's allowed to sleep on, lol.

Couch, loveseat, bed ep allowed about everywhere!!! Oh and as far as the pillow thing goes yep pup likes his pillows!!!!! Even rearranges the ones on the couch to suit his needs.

We had a puppy that was afraid of heights and would get very aggitated if we put him on the couch or bed so he had his own blanket and pillow on the floor next to the couch, but then he got sick late this spring and after that the couch ended up being his bed, sadly we had to put him to sleep 3 weeks ago, he had an autoimmune disease and now it seems that his sister just might have the same thing, we had 6 dogs and all but Pride would jump on couch and bed .
