I would want a POTC4 but if Keria and Orlando aren't in it then, no.

There will be one, but not for a while because Gore Verbinski is off making Bioshock for Universal... and JD says he won't make a POTC film unless Gore is involved... so no Gore, no 4.

My own thought is that they're going to do Indiana Jones and Metal Gear Solid for Pirates 4. Namely, Jack's back... with gray hair. Alot will have happened between the film gap, and we'll return to the story with fresh new characters and a fresh new plot. As for Will and Elizabeth's son, at this point, he'll be old enough to be like Mutt in Indy 4. Jack's sidekick.

That's what I think they'll do... but it won't happen for a long while yet.

And then, of course, they'll have 2 more movies centered around Will and Elizabeth's son, who will be played by some heartthrob who all the girls love (alot like JD).

I would really love a POTC4, but when I really think about it I realize that if it ends up not having the same actors/actresses, or it ends up being really bad, it might take away from the magic of the other movies and also might affect the "uniqueness" of each character.

Currently after watching the other POTC movies, I want to go on a pirate ship and sail with all of them!

Jack will never get a girl. He's a pirate for crying out loud, pirates never settle down and start a family.

I'm kinda interested in what will happen next, with Jack and Barbossa (that's really the only story that would still be interesting, IMO). But I think it would be over-kill if they made a 4th.

No offense, but that sounds really terrible. I might not even bother seeing it if that's the plotline. I really hope it doesn't end up like that.

Oh... I'm sorry. I thought it sounded okay... knowing the Pirates people, they might be able to pull it off..

Don't be sorry, it was just my opinion. It just sounded so cliche and 'done before' IMO.
