I rarely, if ever wear hose anymore. Definitely take a formal occasion to get me in them, and then only if I weren't wearing sandals.

I wish some fashion expert would decree the passing of wearing nylons. I don't know whether to wear them or not. It's just to church that I wear them.

I haven't worn flesh coloured hose since I was a little girl. Most of my skirts are ankle-length, but if I wear a shorter skirt, I may wear coloured tights (I have a black & teal plaid skirt that looks great with teal tights).

For a casual dress or skirt, I don't wear hose. For a night out or something "dressy", I definitely wear hose....I'm 31.

I don't wear pantyhose unless it is a formal occasion...or it is cold. Really, it is too hot here most of the time to suffer through wearing them. Why is it so bad to have skin instead of nylon on your legs anyways?

I hate my legs therefore I love long dresses and skirts. So no hose for me. Though if I do wear something shorter I do wear hose because I hate my legs.

Some women would have prettier legs with panty hose, especially when going to work.

I hate wearing pantyhose. I've also hated wearing slips and my mom would get mad at me when I was a teenager. I would tell her, "so what if someone can see my legs."
Today she complains about what all the teenagers wear.

Until I saw this thread I did not realize how long it has been since I bought pantyhose. There must be some still in my drawer but mostly I wear knee high's in the winter and nothing in the summer. I do have tights for when it is really cold.

Because I am cursed with terrible legs, I wear a lot of long dresses/skirts and yes, hose. I prefer dancer's hose which can really make a difference in how legs look. I also like nylons w/lacy garters.

I don't know many people that wear panty hose naymore. 20 years ago everyone wore them but they are certainly "out" in this day and age.

I wear them during the winter, usually - not really during the summer/early fall.

Whoever said they're saggy, etc. - no decent ones are! By decent I mean even Leggs Sheer Energy,etc. The cheapie ones, I've seen them look nasty, but I love the way a nice pair looks - so does DH!

If I'm just wearing a summer dress or skirt then I don't wear pantyhose. I like to be comfortable during my everyday activities and pantyhose are SOOO not comfortable.

If I'm getting dressed up for a big occasion(wedding, dance, major meeting) then yes I will wear them.

Well I remember Oprah announcing that pantyhose is "out," so there's your decree for ya! And I remember that when she did I jumped and yelled "hallelujia, AMEN!"
