Do women like men to shave their legs?

There seems to be a trend for men to shave or wax their legs, armpits, bodies. It seems to be quite fashionable among British football players and other celebrities.

Is that something that women find attractive, or do you like your men hairy in the right places?

I like manscaped hair in all the right places. Chest, legs, arms, etc. I find it very masculine and sexy. :teeth:

I don't like *really* hairy. But, I don't mind a little bit. I don't like any hair on the back. My DH doesn't shave anything but his face. He does trim other areas so it's not as long.

I'm not fond of hair. So, if my man shaved his legs, I would be okay with it - but I don't like stubbles, so he must be organized about it.

How about the pits? Those need to be cut, mowed or trimmed as well.

Manscaped? Does that mean shaved/waxed or unshaved/waxed?

Hmmm, I guess manscaped could have several meanings. :scratchin But for me, it means trimmed. The hair is still there, its just all combed up and neat looking.

I vote for hair but it seems the younger generation prefers the hairless version :confused3

I like a medium amount of hair. It's sexy. Too much is gross, to little is scrappy looking.

I wouldn't want a waxed man though. Too weird.

I don't shave anything that isn't found above my shoulders.

I have twin 18yo sons. The one is a runner and shaves his legs. At least that's why he started but I'm not sure why he does it now. The other one does not. It's funny because the one who shaves is the one with much less hair. He's like me. I could skipp shaving my legs all summer and you wouldn't know it.

Vote me in for well-trimmed hair in all the right places.

My Dh has hairy legs and I love them.

He does shave during triathlon season-legs and arms-so he doesn't rip hair out when he peels his wetsuit off.

I think he looks sexy when he's shaved, as well. He's very fit and tan during that time so I think that helps. I'm not sure what it would look like is he was really white and flabby. :confused3

I agree with Ali about the manscaping. I like a guy that is trim and neat all over. I did date a soccer player who shaved his arms and legs and I just didn't like that he was smoother than me. It was too weird for me. I like to at least know that my manly is supposedly manly. ;)

I want my man the way he is. I'd freak out if he shaved his legs or his chest!
He's not real hairy, just a nice little patch on his chest and I like it that way.
I'm not a big fan of back hair though and luckily he doesn't have any there.

I think it is gross to see a man that has shaved his pits or legs. Sorry, but shaving anything below the neck is girl stuff. I'm not a fan of very hairy men but I wouldn't have married a hairy guy. I also wouldn't marry one that shaves! Can you say metrosexual? Yuck!

Well, my DH doesn't give me any reason to doubt his sexuality.

He HAS to shave for triathlons. He would be in some serious pain if his wetsuit ripped any hair off.

If he just shaved for no reason, I guess that would bug me.

floridafam, that's funny about the wetsuits. Because both my sons surf. The one who has more hair is getting a bad rash under his one armpit because his wetsuit is a bit frayed there. I think he's pulling the hair. I suggested he shave during wetsuit season. He looked at me like I was a freak. He swears that's not the problem. They put vaseline on whereever they are likely to get wetsuit rash. This son also thinks he'd be interested in doing triathalons. I'd love to see him try it.

I AM of the younger generation, and I LOVE hairy.

Much more masculine. My husband has long black shiny wavy hair, a hairy chest, hairy legs, etc. Remember those old Magnum PI shows? Imagine Tom Selleck with no mustache but long Aragon Lord of the Rings type hair and that's my husband. In my opinion, it just doesn't get any better than that.

When I was younger I knew a lot of male models and they all shaved and waxed like crazy. And most of them were gay, so for me gay=shaved, so it's not attractive to me.

I'm not a fan of shaved men....ewwww!

I'll take my hubby as is, thanks!
