I know that here in PA, we normally don't see any wild rabbits outside once the snow hits. Does anyone know if wild cottontails hibernate?
I was wondering what Thumper was going to do seeing how she IS technically a wild rabbit although she lives the life of a domesticated one (not many bunnies have maid service, laundry service and all the cheerios she can eat!!
) I have noticed she is eating a lot more (not storing it or anything...she eats every last piece!) and her coats is changing color as well (more reddish and white than brown). Should make for an interesting winter!!
