Do we need to do Fantasmic Dinner Package if there is a 2nd showing?

We have always booked the Fantasmic Dinner package in the past. However, this year we are going during Easter week and there are two showings. The first one at 7:30, second at 9:00 - dinner package is only allowed on the first showing.

If we skip the package and go to the 9:00 show is it really crowded? Thanks for any advice......

We were in the same situation last year over Christmas week. Since Fantasmic wasnt a priority on that trip(we had seen it a few months earlier) we decided to take our chances. We walked into the theater about 20 minutes before the second show time and were able to get 4th row seats. The sections on either end were empty and remained that way throughout the show. I couldnt believe it!
If I were to go again and there was a second show, Id skip the package and go to that.
