Do we need mister fans in Oct?

Do we need mister fans in Oct, or is it not hot enough?

We DEFINITELY needed them in mid-September of 2001.. Not sure about October, but I would take them just in case..

**Wait till the middle or late part of the summer to get them on clearnace sale for next to nothing at Walmart or some such place.. I got the large ones - (which were AWESOME) for $1.25 a piece..

Went first week of October last year and it was 93 degrees every day.

Take them. They don't take a lot of room in luggage if your don't use them (stuff them in your shoes), but they cost an arm and a leg to buy down there.

We were there the end of October 2002 and made lots of friends with our mister! It was very hot, though everyone said it was unusually hot. I agree with other posters - Take it just in case.

We always go late October and have never taken ours with us. Actually, we only take it during the summer months. Suitcase space is valuable to us, so we try hard to only take what we need. It will be packed for our July trip, and our September trip, but not our October trip. The weather is usually wonderful that time of year.

We always go in October, it can get pretty hot in the afternoons. I don't do very well in the heat and wished I would of had a mister fan a couple of years ago.
It was very hot and I was not feeling well, I starting to get dizzy and queezy, tried going into air conditioned buildings and drinking plenty of liquid to make me feel better, and to make a long story short, my girls now call Epcot- Upcot!!LOL!! Didn't quite make it to the first aid station. I was very embarressed my kids and DH thought it was hysterical.
I stayed at first aid for several hours while they went to Innoventions. First aid nurse was very nice and I got a special Minnie Mouse Nurse sticker.
Any way better to be safe than sorry!!
Oh,and by the way, my strange family always wants to go back and find the stain. I don't think they will ever let me forget that "wonderful" memory.
