Do we need extra id?

Hi, Just wondering, we are from the U.k and I believe our passports will be taken off us when we get onto the ship.
My wife and myself have the old style driving licences, does this mean we will have to get the new photo ones or not?
Any Help would be much appreciated

They take your passport when you check in at the terminal and they are held by Disney - they give them back briefly if you have to go through US immigration on any of the islands then you get them back when you do the final US immigration on return to Port Canaveral.
They asked us if we had additional ID and as we both have the photo driving licenses this wasn't a problem. If you don't have any I think they will do a copy of your passport photo page for you but it is probably better to be prepared in advance. You need photo ID to get on and off the ship.

In my opinion, it is always better to have more than one form of id. I'd go for the picture licenses.
