Do we need an accessible cabin?

My sister-in-law is going to stay in our cabin with us on our next Disney trip. In her day to day life, she doesn't need a wheelchair/scooter. However, due to some autoimmune issues, she typically rents a scooter at Disney. This is my first time staying at the Fort. Should we request an accessible cabin or will it matter? Where should we park the scooter? Is there room inside or will we need to park it on the porch? She is able to walk up and down stairs.

Thanks!

If you book an accessible cabin you will have room inside the cabin to store a scooter. Depending on how many people are in the cabin to give yourself more room you could always keep it on the deck while you are in the cabin and move it inside at night. We had three of us in a cabin and we always kept it inside with no issues.

If you were to rent a regular cabin you could leave it outside, there is an outlet but then you have to worry about it getting wet from rain or damp from dew etc.

I'd book the accessible cabin if it's available
