We are going 8th nov and don't know what to do regarding meals.

I was hoping for 1 character meal and had choose BBQ cookout, but since read it's only on when park is open after 7! Can anyone confirm this?

Or there is cafe mickey but prices are so much more money!

Or should I splash out for the wild west show? But this would need tone 6.30 showing and means missing 1.5 hours of the park?

My son is only 4 and doest eat alot and find it hard to plan a time to eat.

Can I just turn up at any of the resturantant?

no, you have that the wrong way around :) - the BBQ cookout is open for character lunch and for the character tea party, so just before noon until 3pm, then 4.30 until 6pm - its not open after that.

Cafe Mickey doesn't have to cost a lot of money - a pizza to share (they are huge) and a soft drink each would come to around 25 euros total or less.

you won't be able to just turn up at Cafe Mickey, even in low season its popular restaurant, and especially with young children who don't like to wait when they're hungry, you're best to book the time which suits you for that restaurant, even a day in advance.

The others though, you should be fine just turning up.

We are also arriving at DLRP on the 8th November and as it is our sons 5th Birthday we have already booked and paid for Cafe Mickey for dinner, this cost £70 for the 3 of us. Apparantly this is a reasonable price to have paid so why not check out the official site to see if you can book through them, failing this give them a call. Might even see you there :)

you can also call the Disney Dining reservations line on 0033 160 304050 to reserve tables, including at Cafe Mickey, without paying anything in advance :)
