As a Dvc Member since 11-04 my first visit is coming oct 30 -nov 4 going to get passes at park i gues is this best way to go and do wqe get discount.

The Nelson Family cannt wait staying at Saratoga Springs

DVC members get a $100 discount for Annual Passes ($125 for PAP), but no discount for any other types of admission. If you will be going again within the next year, it may be worthwhile to purchase the AP. Otherwise, the MYW passes (available at the resort or at the parks) may be a less costly option.

Here is a link to WDW Ticket Prices.

Have a great trip!

The only DVC discount on passes (although it is a good one) is on the Annual Pass (AP - minus $100) or the Premium Annual Pass (PAP -minus $125 I believe). YOu cansee more info on the DVC member site and also at All Ears Net AP info page

When buying an AP you would then also qualify to buy the Disney Dining Experience card (DDE) for a reduced fee of $50. This is an AP discount though not a DVC one. Depending on how your family eats on vacation it could easily pay for itself.

If you can buy tickets ahead via Ticketmania.com or Maple Leaf Tickets etc. you will save money over getting them at the parks.

Hope the Nelson family has a wonderful time at SSR - Welcome Home!

DVC members get a discount on annual passes - $100 off the price of an AP and $125 off the price of a PAP (premium annual pass). That is the only discount members receive on admission to the 4 major parks.

Congratulations on your purchase and welcome home!

Ralph - Have you checked out MouseSavers yet?

www.MouseSavers.com

Mary (site owner) has quite a section on discount WDW tickets, including Tickemania. In fact, if you sign up for her newsletter, you'll be able to take advantage of some special savings at Tickemania. They are a reputable ticket broker and many DIS posters have used them with no negative reports.

You'll also want to read some of the ticket threads on the Theme Parks Board as well as some on the Budget Board.

Best wishes -
