Just wondering, does each person get an appetizer with their meal on the DDP?

Yeah, every person in your party gets their own appetizer and thier own dessert.

Also, with the CS meals, you get each person is allowed one dessert offering as well.

Yes, each person in your party on the dining plan gets an appetizer, entree, dessert and drink each. Lots of food!

are the appetizers individual sized or is each one large enough for the entire party as in a regular restaurant?

Depends on what you get, from where. But most appetizers are pretty small. Generally more than enough for one person, but will come up pretty short if you try to split it with two or more people.
