Do we all wait in line for EE?

We have two DDs my 4 yr. old will not be tall enough for EE. My almost 7 yo will (I hope.) Do we all go through the line and then do the baby swap at the ride, or do we get a pass before the line begins?

I believe you ask the cast member at the entrance of the ride. They give you a ticket and I think one person then waits in line with the 7 year old and does it. When you come out you swap and the other parent goes with the 7 year old.When you go the second time I think you go through the fast pass line. I havent done it in a while but last time we did it this way.
