Do WDW bus stops have GPS monitors showing bus locations?

I spend half my money on WDW, and waste the rest.

Might help pick a theme park if you are not sure which one you want to visit at that moment. Or call DW in the room and say there is no hurry-it shows MK bus just left so we have to wait for one about 15 minutes out.

We seldom use busses and haven't been down in a while, but my coworker asked me.

Seems like these days, even our phones shows us driving blips on a map.

Do the bus stops have a monitor showing the "EPCOT" bus location, so you know one is on the way? Maybe even how full they are, and what other ones are right behind it?

Seems simple enough these days if not.

Maybe they don't want to show routes or changes to routes etc?

There's an app called DPart that's kind of what you're talking about. It shows when the next bus should be pulling up to your stop.

Oh nice, so it shows an arrival time for each park/ bus? Not a live map? That should be enough-be nice to also see when the next one (2nd one) is coming also. Sometimes they are very close together and others quite a wait. I like overkill on data though.

It MIGHT show a map, but I honestly can't recall. It's free, so it might be worth downloading just to try it out

No, they don't.
Some bus stops (the deluxe's, i know for sure the GFlo & I believe Kidani) has a tv monitor that tells you how long til the next bus at each park, but that's about it.

I WISH the gps thing was a thing, especially here at home :rotfl2: our transit system is HORRIBLE lol

Whats funny (or not) is they can probably pull up the same map and show my individual (or any of the 100,000 guests) wristband walking around and where it went.

But maybe they will see how many wristbands are in the DHS bus stop at Allstar Movies and send an extra bus if needed.

Dang-they really could eliminate bus riding for off site guests with these bands.

I know AKL has monitors and there was one at Riverside last weekend at the South Depot (main bus stop). There was not one at the East Depot where my room was. I didn't get a chance to check it out because my bus was there when I arrived at the stop.

FYI - not free on Google Play but it's only 99¢.

& from the sample images it doesnt provide a map.

looks like it depends on the users to report the bus arrivals, departures, ect. - so is it only as good as whomever is using it.

Maybe they drivers are reporting @ each stop?

Yeah I only used it once so my idea of it may be a bit off. lol
