This is our first trip for the Halloween Party and it's three adults no kids. We're wondering if it's mostly for kids or do adults really dress up too?
:confused3

I was there at the end of Oct- 2007 and many adults were dressed. It was very cool. I went with dh and my mom and dad and we actually made shirts for the guys that said trick and us ladie's shirts said treat! they were awesome!

I dressed up last year and will be doing so again this year. We are four adults and no kids and love MNSSHP and the fact that you are not out of place as a costumed adult only group. I got so much candy and the greatest balloon hat because of my efforts.

I was at 9/14 and 9/21 last year and will be at 9/16 this year. I saw plenty of adult only couples/groups that wore costumes even in September. Dress up and have a fab time.

Dressing up is the part that I'm looking forward to. I have even convinced BF to dress up and he doesn't really do things like that :)

I have never been to MNSSHP before, but having read some other reports etc i feel quite reassured that we (bf and myself) won't be out of place.

yes you'll see whole families dresses in a theme such as grandpa & grandma in donald & daisy while the kids are huey duey & louie mother& father are mickey & minnie,101 dalamations is popular for families i seen a whole family dressed as fast passes lol
than you see little touches such as a halloween shirt, a witches hat, all black jogging suit or orange with a painted face

We dress up, we go without the kids to WDW each year for MNSSHP since they're all grown up and on their own. In fact if the grown kids go with us they don't want to dress up because "we" embarass them.

I've seen tons of adults in GREAT costumes. Cinderellas with Prince Charmings, some Donald Duck dads, the whole Peter Pan clan... :)

I sure hope so because I am! Long strapless red ball gown with a diamond tiara and earrings. I'll finally get to be a princess (did I mention I'm 44..ha!)

Wish I could find a comfy pair of shoes to go with the dress. I thought about my red crocs.

I'll be at MNSSHP Sept 9. It'll be my first and I'm soo excited!

My DBf and I went last year and dressed up.....it was awesome !!!!!! We had a blast. Walking around in costume, adds to the "excitement" of the evening.

GO FOR IT !!!! :thumbsup2

I wore my ruby slippers (shoes that I covered in red glitter) for as long as I could atand and then changed into my red mary jane crocs. I say where your crocs if you want to, especially if you will have a more enjoyable evening.

I bet you'll look just as stunning as (if not more so than) any of the Disney princesses! :princess:

There's nothing worse than sore feet on vacation. Last year my strap broke on my sandals and I got a cheap pair of shoes down there. Ended up with blood blisters and had to leave a day early. Wear the crocks.... your feet will thank you.

I was dressed as a pirate 2 years ago and could NOT walk by the time of the 2nd parade...boy I wish I had my crocs then!!!!!

Lots of people were costumed and yep, a lot of people were costumed as a group...my favorite Peter Pan and Wendy, John, Tink, Schmee, Hook, Dog....really cool. Lots of Captain Jack's, some of them cute tho not so much as JD....make sure you are on time for the headless horseman!

This will be DH and my first Disney Vacation without the whole family, :woohoo: celebrating our 27 Anniversary. We are going to MNSSHP on Oct. 28 and I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited. :yay: Would like to dress as Mary Popppins and DH could be Bert. Any suggestions on where to get a Mary Poppins costume? Trick a Treating in your 50's at WDW what could be better!:tink:

My group is dressing up for the Oct. 13th MNSSHP. We will be the Flintstones and Rubbles. Only 2 of the 8 have ever been to a MNSSHP. Can't wait.
