Do trade room owners treat you mean?

When I was new to vmk i went into a trade room and anyone who looked poor or asked questions got booted by owner. If you did not have rare, he did not want to deal with you. He would just laugh at my questions with his girlfriend. I thought that was mean. There are many good trade room owners out there though.

I have been to some trade rooms where nothing was for trade. Owners get mad when you ask about something. How am I supposed to know what is not for trade in a TRADE room?

Speaking as a trade room owner...
I do not boot ppl because they look poor
I do not boot ppl who pretend to be animals
I do not boot ppl who are taken
I respect everyones vmk "game".

I DO boot ppl who do not respect each other
I DO boot ppl who try to cheat other players in trades

When I trade with ppl who dont have alot I am always more generous and often give them many extras. So yes there are good trade owners in vmk.

I've been booted by trade room owners when I would not accept their trade offers.

I was once asked by a trade room owner to change my clothes because "you have to look good to be in here". So I said well then maybe you should leave Then I got booted.

Oh, one of the kids on my list is always bugging me to 'come, quickly'. Never, hello how are you or anything, just come. So the other day I was playing fireworks when the message sound went off. I was nice, finished my game then visited her room. I get in there, and she promptly tells me that I was too late, and boots me from the room! You know, some people make it easy to choose who to delete off of your friends list. At least I don't have to keep reading the 'come' messages now! lol That's one reason why I stay out of those trade rooms. Don't know the people don't want to put up with the hassle. lol

Thank you Prince. Nice of you to say.
About a month ago, I dressed "down" and went to some of the trade rooms that were popular for that day. I tried to trade some common buyables and also some not so rare quest items. Not once was a trade accepted by any room owner or anyone in it that you see in trades most often. In a few rooms I was told by the owners to "find a poor trade room" for ppl like myself. I thanked them and promply left never to return to those rooms again.
