It's everyones nightmare (especially if you have the PAPER tickets)...losing your tickets!!

I am a complete worry wort, and so I was worried about losing my park ticket on my first solo trip to Disney (no husband along to fix problems FOR me).

This fear led me to take a picture of the back of my park ticket as soon as I got it in case I lost it.

Well guess what, on the day I was leaving, I had time to hit MK for a few hours, so I packed up all the my bags, gave it to the airline people, and went on my way!! Only to realize once getting there that my ticket was in my pants from the previous day, now with the airline people back at the resort!

Luckily, I had that picture on my camera and it totally saved me! All I had to do was zoom in on the picture for the Cast Member to see the numbers and he reissued me a ticket in under 10 minutes!!!

I will always make sure to do that one simple thing now- who would have thought I would actually needed it!

That is a very smart idea.

I had to chuckle about your comment of you being solo and not having a husband along to fix things.

In my house, I'd be the one fixing what was wrong. My husband wouldn't have a clue when it comes to Disney.

How was your solo trip otherwise? I adore mine!

I am really self sufficient, but I have a tendency since being married to just let him "take care of me" too much lol. My trip was AMAZING! I was the first time I had been away from my daughter overnight (she is almost 2). It was so amazing in fact, that I have decided to go EVERY year by myself for a few days! So great to do what you want, when you want, as long as you want for a few days and not have to worry about anything else!

If you go to the locked sticky Everything About WDW Tickets in the TPA&S Forum, especially Post #13, you can get a lot more information related to lost ticket replacement. An easy way to get to the sticky is by clicking on the link in my signature. The ticket sticky is your friend!

This is something we alwasy do. It saved us once too. DH got a fp and somehow his ticket so lost. We went back to the fp machine, but it wasn't there. We had a picture of the ticket and no issues getting it replaced.

Same here!! I'm the one that does all the planning and fixing.

The ticket booths will reissue your tickets. All they have to do is look them up on the computer. It has happened to me more than once when I left my passes at home. I love Disney customer service. No pictures of tickets needed, just name and I.D.

I had the paper military discount ticket.
