Do they remind you when your balance is due?

I am going to make reservations very soon for June. I still haven't decided when exactally but we are getting closer! I was told I can put a 200 deposit down and then the balance is due 45 days before arrival. Do they send any kind of reminder that your 45 days are up? I have a lupus type disorder that affect my memory terribly and I would be afraid that I would miss the 45 day mark (even if I put it on a calander). What would happen if I did?
