I have just checked the dates I want to visit universal and all the AAA rates have gone. Does anybody know if the hotels ever release anymore rooms to sell at the AAA discounted rate? Is it worth waiting a while and calling them again? Or is that it for me.........rack rate or a different date?

Thanks for any advice

You need to call and ask for Triple A rates.
AAA rates do not show up on their site

HRH for May 17 for 3 or 4 nights.........I phoned but they only have PBH and RPR. Everyone has now decided they want to stay at HRH ! Although there doesn't look much between AAA and supersaver rate.

Thats in three weeks. The HRH is sold our for that weekend. I tried getting a room myself, same dates. My opinion is that you will not see AAA rates suddenly appear for those dates. What were the AAA rates for PBH? I'm holding an APH rate but not sure what I'm gonna do yet either.

I know.....19 days, I am so excited, we haven't been to Universal for 5 years and we have never stayed on site before. I was only checking club rates.......PBH was $327.20 and RPR $271.20

How many people are you? Hmm actually for the small difference in price I would book PBH. (based on your rates) I would call HRH every morning and check on cancellations. It cant hurt and its been known to happen. That is if you have decided you want HRH. I've stayed at all three many times and PBH is wonderful. You cant go wrong with any of the three.:thumbsup2 Let us know what you decide! You are gonna have a great time.

hrh books full many times before the others as it is the smallest hotel of the 3.
hrh has 650 rooms only.

pbh and rph have more space and rooms.

Hi Fan2CSkr

I have just checked Universal website.....HRH is available 5/17 for 3 nights at $331 club (supersaver rate) I then rang them and AAA is now available but is coming out at $350, so the internet rate is better. There is 5 of us (kids 12, 7 and 3) So I know PBH would suit us better with room size but the elder kids really want to stay at HRH. I like the look of PBH and my husband is so fed up with my indecision he couldn't care less!!

I don't really mind where I stay as we have never stayed on site so I am sure we will love it and realise that this is the only way to go.........Hopefully we can return every year and get to stay in all 3.

With small(ish) kids, I am wondering if we stay club at HRH it will be very convenient, same floor as the room, very near the park if we need to pop back for snacks or dry clothes etc. What do you think? Is club even worth the $$?

i just checked your dates and found if you go standard pool view it would be
$250 a night
queen deluxe is $297 night
club level queen is $331 a night.

if you got a rollaway for $25 a night, the standard would be $275 a night for you. if you upgraded to

queen deluxe you would have the pull out sofa and lots more room.

go with the queen deluxe.

those are the rack rates.

if someone cancels that has the AAA rate, you could snag it when it goes back for availability.

the above rates are for hrh.
let me pull up pbh rates next for you.
