Do they NEED to play the music so loud?

*WARNING* I sound like an old lady *WARNING*

It is 1137pm.
Why in the world do some teens need to BLAST their music in their "pimped out" cars so loud that it shakes my house 2 streets back?!

It's freakin annoying when you're trying to sleep.
But then again, I live where all the NYC transplants are. Mainly Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx. Maybe they're not used to "This city sleeps, unlike NYC"?
Still...it's annoying.

I would be mad to but I am a heavy sleeper so I would be able to fall asleep and stay asleep.

I mean seriously, you can hear these people coming 6 blocks away. It's insane.
They've even woken my mom up, and she falls asleep once her head hits the pillow and is out like a light. Very heavy sleeper.

I hate people who do that. And stores that play gross rap music so loud I can't even talk to my friends because they can't hear me.

I also hate people who rev their motocycles for no reason, or just to scare me. You don't sound cool when you do that, you just piss me off.

Oh, I feel your pain!!! I live in Detroit, and people do it ALL THE TIME here, at all hours of the night, they just don't really care. Its like I am just about to fall asleep and all of a sudden I hear BOOM BOOM BOOM.

I hate that.But i dont hear it where i live.
I just hear it when i am in my moms car and people are blasting music so loud that it makes my car shake.I feel like telling the to turn it down.I hate it so much.But people think it is cool.But is actually just annoying.

I agree. I'm always yelling at my sister's to turn their music down because it's always louder then the TV. Then they turn it down for maybe 5 mins, then turn it right back up then -_-

haha, some of my friends do that.. its funny though when im in the car with them..

:: i try to talk to them::
:: they say "WHATT?!?"... than i reply with "WHAAAT?!?"::
:: the "what!?" goes back and forth for a while::
:: they turn the music back down::

and yea, people do that to block out the world around them... i used to blast my headphones so that i can drown out everything outside the music.. just to be immersed in it... buuut then, i developed common sense because doing that just takes away all awareness of your surroundings, which is very dangerous haha
