Hey there, Hi there, Ho there, hope your as happy as can be!!! ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo

I'm full of question tonight, :rotfl: :rotfl:

I have a three yr. old son that is a very restless sleeper. He's all over the place. We moved his bed next to the wall in his room to help him stay on.

We are staying at the ASMovie resort, can we move the bed there?? :confused3 some hotels you can some can not.
Can anyone tell me if they move or not?? :confused3

Thanks so much :flower:

My DisneyMom and DisneySister have stayed there (without the two other Disney Daughters I might add! :sad2: ) and the beds will not move. Well, if they do, you will have a hellahighwater time trying to do so.
My youngest Disney sister (yeah-the one who got to go while my other sister and I had to sit out-fits!) is a wild sleeper too. She's so wild in fact, that when we go on vacations, it's always a fight for who is going to have to be the unlucky blood donor to sleep with her.
As a solution to this problem, my mom invested in one of those blow up matresses that you can buy at Walmart and laying it on the floor for her to sleep on at night. She likes it because she thinks it's a "special" bed only for kids her age.
She felt the same way when, in the earlier days before we learned about the blow-up thing, we let her sleep on a blow up raft (one of the long ones you can lay on to float in the pool) covered with a beach towel. Yes, it sounds primitive and some people may have called us into Child Welfare Services, but she was spared multiple bruises from falling all over the place, and she was elated to have her own "Allison Bed" that nobody else could sleep in.

Ummmm...
Not to argue,
but myself, DH & DS (2) stayed at
ASMo in April & we took another DIS'rs advice
& moved one bed against the wall - with no problem at all??
Granted, the headboards are screwed to the wall,
but the bed moved with just a little effort,
just lift slightly & shift towards the wall
(I did it myself without DH's help).
It worked great for us - I slept with DS, had 3 bedrails
from Mousekeeping so that the open sides were
covered as much as possible.
They collapse into a shorter length & we had to use
2 at the short length to adequately hem in the end of the bed.
Although I'll give you fair warning that there is a severe
language barrior with the Mousekeepers there,
including (unfortunately) the one who takes the requests.
They could not understand why I wanted a third bedrail,
"Manager said bring bedrails, I bring bedrails,"
"Yes, thank you, they're here but I need another one please,"
"I bring bedrails,"
"Yes, I know, we're very appreciative, but I still need a THIRD one,"
"I bring bedrails..."
This went on & on, like Who's On First,
it took 3 hours but we finally got our third bedrail *sigh*.

We have a 4 year old who does his best traveling at night in bed :) We stayed at ASMovies a month ago and we slid the mattress against the wall and that worked out fine. Mousekeeping never moved it back our whole stay (8 nights), she would just throw the comforter up to the corner without tucking it. That made it nice, we didn't have to move it every night then.

Didn't need bedrails---we took turns sleeping with him. :)

Lots of good answers here! I was going to post a similar question today--haha--because we have a 5 year old who can fall over the bedrail at night (I know because I've pulled her back before)! So I can probably move the bed or mattress, and if not I can call and get a rail--correct? Works for me!! Thanks! :goodvibes
