My return flight is a saturday and the Ding ate wasn't available. Is it because its a saturday?? It was available for friday but I can't bring myself to leave a day early. And I don't want to come home on Sunday b/c I want to give my DS a day to rest before school. I'll keep watching.... :wizard:

I think it depends on availability/airport/etc...

We are travelling to/from the world on Saturdays in December and have ding fares for both to/from

We are also traveling on a ding fare ($28 each way) on a Saturday. We actually go down on a Friday and return on a Saturday. Love those Dings!!!

Since travel to and from Orlando on Saturdays is fairly popular, a lot of times Ding! rates and other sale rates are sold out on Saturdays pretty quickly, thus the "unavailable". Unfortunately, if the fare is unavailable now, it will probably be unavailable in the future, especially if you're travelling at a popular time of year (Christmas, Spring Break, etc.) Keep watching though, you never know!

We have a ding fare on the saturday before christmas to MCO. Funny thing though: out of the 5 or so BUF-MCO flights that day, there was only a DING fare for one flight (the rest showed no availability). I had it all booked about 5 minutes within hearing the DING. Then I just happened to check this date/fare again and ALL flights were showing unavailable. So I am just so happy I booked it right after I heard the ding.

Now if I could only get a ding ofr my return flight!!!

Just curious, had you already booked a round trip ticket or had you booked each way as a one way fare?

I had originally booked one way fares so they would be easier to cancel and re book if a DING fare showed up.

I like flying down to WDW after work on the last flight out at night. To me nothing is worse than starting out my vacation by having to get up at 5am to catch a 7am flight. I monitor SW flights all the time and those Saturday morning flights always go quick.
