I knew I had an e-mail PIN code that said book by June 17th for a 30% off.
When I called and asked "Are there any PIN codes" attached to me or my wife" since I read here that some people are finding out they got Free dining that way.
She said "Let me check...Oh, your PIN has expired". I said "I thought it expires today on the 17th" and she said "Let me check again"
Comes back with a different offer that says there is one that's good until the 21st. I asked if it was for the 30% off and she said no..it depends on which place"..
So do they just make stuff up? And she did the classic upsell maneuver but didn't fall for it.
Just said No thanks, called back and got a more subdued CM who didn't try any high pressure upsell. He said there was a code for 30% and that's the one we went with.
