We are going to be at Disney Jan 27- Feb 5. My son will be 3 at the end of Feb. I would love to take him to do the pirate make over or BBB cool dude but they say ages 3 and up. Do you think not being 3 will make a difference do they ask to see his park tickets or anything? First time going to Disney for all of us. Do they ask for ages when you make reservations, and if they do should I just say 3?

I don't think they check ages, I'm not sure. BUT...under the age of 3 your son won't need a ticket. That should save you a fair amount of cash, depending on how long you stay. Would you rather pay that so he can ride a few rides?

We are planning our first trip, and I thought a lot of rides were by height, not age?

I beleive the rides are by height to I was just wondering if I could book reservations at the pirate league. I would think they wouldn't even ask but I don't know if the system is some how link to some other system that tells them my kid is under 3 because he doesn't have a ticket and is listed as being 2. I just think he would look cute as pirate.

I believe that I just read on another thread that they won't question you if you say he is 3 but that the makeup used is has not been tested on children under 3 so they are off the hook (so to speak:rotfl2:) if there is a reaction.

thanks for the response. I think I will risk it then. I would hope my son's skin doesn't have a different reaction though being a whole month a way from being 3. :cool1: do you know where this other thread was?

If you don't want to lie about his age why don't you take him to the barber shop on main street. They also do "cool dudes" and it is not a girly environment like BBB. No age limit that I know of.

Yup. It is on the "Theme Park" board on page 3 and it is titled Pirate Experience.:thumbsup2

Don't forget that they may ask HIM how old he is. DGS just turned three and in the weeks leading up he would tell you his BD was 00/00/00 and he was going to be 3!!!

Aslo be sure that you think he would really enjoy sitting still and having someone mes with him for so long. DGS would never allow that but all kids are different!!

Why don't you take him to the barber shop? Does he have a sister going to the BBB at the same time? I admit, ds6 spend quite amount of time dressing up when he was little, since his playmates were dd6 and dd8, but I still think he'd rather go the barber shop than the BBB.

Someone said b4 that its okay as long as they are w/in a month of their birthday. You could call and see.
