I could swear in the past that there is a charge for ice--does anyone know for a fact if there is a fee?

I think I remember that it is $2 for a small bag. The machines are located near the comfort stations. I don't know what they sell it for at the trading posts.

It was still $2 a bag back in December. One thing I noticed was that the bags supplied were not large enough to hold the ice that came out of the chute. I would suggest bringing another plastic bag with you or a small cooler so that you get everything you paid for.

We were just there in April. It was still $2. You will want to have a second bag handy (they should have plenty of bags at the ice machine).

Having said that - the ice melts rather quickly but is convenient. If you do find yourself going offsite for any reason, you may want to plan on purchasing ice and bringing it back. Much less expensive and the ice tends to last longer.

We are going to freeze large bottles of water as we have learned from the "literature" in our newly purchased coolers--that blocks of ice of course are better b/c it takes longer for them to melt.
