Do the Water Parks class as 'Park Hopping'?

Hi Guys,

We are visiting Disney World in Feb '23 from the UK. We have the park hopper ticket option and understand it for the mostpart, however are the Water Parks included in this?

Basically, we have made park resiversions for the main 4 Parks for certain days, but we might wish to visit one of the Water Parks in the morning of that day BEFORE visiting our reserved main park.

Is this allowed, so I reserve, for example, Magic Kingdom as our main park reservation for that day. But can we go to say, Tyhpoon Lagoon first in the morning, and then go to our reserved magic Kingdom anytime, without the 2pm constaint?

Thanks in advance for any info, guys! :)

Water Parks don't require advance reservations and are not subject to the 2pm park hopping limitation.

Access to the Water Parks requires either the Water Park and Sports Option or the Park Hopper Plus option.

Many thanks for your reply!

So I could, for example, make my reseration for Epcot, and go to Typhoon lagoon for a few hours, then go to Epcot anytime I'm ready?

Water park admission is 1) an additional ticket 2) a PLUS or like working on your park ticket.
You need to check if water parks are included with the park ticket you have it should have wording like 10 day park with water parks or options or mini golf.
The options or water park or mini golf are separate from the park days. In other words you can have 10 park days and 10 water park days you can use them on all separate days so 20 days total (if your ticket does not expire) or in 10 days going to a water park and a them park each day. If you go to a them park and a water park you will have used 1 of each leaving you 9 park days and 9 water park days. to complicate a little more a water park is per entrance you if you were to go to a water park park leave and go back later you will have then used 2 water park days same if you went to a water park or played mini golf in one day. if you have just park hoppers with no working after the water parks are NOT included but you should be able to upgrade the tickets if you want. hope this makes sense

These 2 scenarios are correct. You may go to your reserved park at any time of the day/evening. Regardless of whether you do a waterpark, resort pool, go shopping or simply sleep in -- you can go to your reserved park at 9am or 4pm or anytime.

If you go to Typhoon Lagoon in the morning, you cannot "hop" to DHS at 2pm if you have a park reservation at Epcot. You would need to go to Epcot first before you could Park Hop.

If you have the UK 7-day or 14-day Magic Ticket, yes it includes access to all 4 theme parks, park hopping after 2pm, and the waterparks, mini-golf, ESPN WWoS and maybe golf. If you have regular US tickets with Park Hopper, that may or may not include the waterparks because it's a separate add-on in the US.
