Do the wagon rides fill up?

Hi to all the Fort Wilderness Pros. I'll be spending November 30th at one of the cabins. The carriage rides aren't showing as available on either Nov. 29th or 30th, so was thinking about a wagon ride. I know they are first come/first served, but wondering if they usually fill up? Is this something I would need to make sure I was at the check-in site a long time before? Thanks for any info anyone can provide.

I don't know if they hit the cap on capacity but they often do run pretty full.

We had a campsite in loop 100 for 2 weeks around Thanksgiving in 2022 and saw the wagons (and carriages) as they went by us nightly. The one thing I will say is that the 6pm wagon ride usually gets a lot of customers when the 4pm HDDR concludes and guests leave just before 6pm (the wagon ride start is very close to the HDDR entrance at Pioneer Hall). Those guests walk right out from one and over to the other.

Similarly, the 615pm show for HDDR lets out just before 815pm and you get a similar cross-over (only sooner) for the 830pm wagon ride. Again, as to whether or not it's full it's hard to say.

So you might want to time your arrival at the wagons before the HDDR crowds are released to get your wagon ride tickets. Your dates are in the busy Thanksgiving weekend so it's sure to be crowded at the Fort.
