do the UK tickets need reservations?

I got 14 day tickets, do I need to make reservations? I assume not as I marked my start date as May 19 so assume I just go on May 19 to any park I please.
But wasn't sure, at Disneyland I still need to do reservations and I know "sometimes" you have to at WDW but don't think you need to if you have a dated start date ticket??
