Do the resorts usually "fill up" like this???

I will try calling again tomorrow just to see if I can get someone to do it. Any ideas how I can get someone from guest relations instead of reservations as AirJoe mentioned???

I suggest you start a new thread with a different title to get the answers you want. Try "How can I change my room only reservation to a package if the resort is full"? Go on to ask must you cancel as you've been told and also ask for the guest relation # that way.

You could also try to call the resort directly and ask for guest relations that way.

I'll say again, for our January trip we converted our room only reservation to a package using AAA. I was told that the resort was full also so I know it can be done. They really want you to get the package so keep trying. I suggest giving AAA a call to see what they say (using my tips above) - maybe that's the key.

POR (as well as lots of other onsite hotels) shows availability for those 2 nights 6/17 and 6/18.

Well, we are staying June 17th through June 24th and my in-laws are going to be joining us on June 19th. They changed their minds and wanted to arrive the same day as we were. They called to add the two nights onto their ressies and were told nothing was available....so I guess they will have to stick with coming in on the 19th!!! Oh well!!

Does anyone know if you can just add the package when you check in? You'd be giving up a small discount on the park tickets but that's about it.
